Notes
The newly designed exclusion module modifies the logic, and from now on, applications that have already been granted ROOT permissions no longer support exclusion because it does not conform to the logic of normal usage scenarios; By default, modules will no longer be excluded because not all software will check the current environment, which undoubtedly brings unnecessary power consumption and heat to the phone. You can manually configure the applications that need to be excluded. It should be noted that if you are upgrading from a version of KernelPatch below 0.10.7 instead of a completely new installation, you need to manually delete the
/data/adb/ap/package_config file and reconfigure it on the SuperUser screen, otherwise a BUG may be occurred.
We have noticed that some older devices (mainly those with Linux kernel versions less than 5) may experience unlimited loading of SuperUser Screen, and even some applications may not be able to use ROOT permissions. This is a known issue and is currently under investigation.

This version includes many updates. Please backup important data before installation or upgrade. We are pleased that Zygisk Next has added support for APatch. To be compatible with its whitelist function, we have added an "exclude" setting button. It should be noted that if Zygisk Next is not used, it has no practical significance because we have not yet implemented this feature due to time constraints. It is a known issue that some software cannot obtain ROOT permission, but only a very small number of software have experienced this bug. We are doing our best to solve and develop it. 随笔
写这个项目很长时间了，发布之前应该就有小一年了吧，记不太清，不过当时是零零散散的比较随意的写，写代码基本不会影响打游戏的时间。发布之后就不行了，各种兼容性问题和bug都一起暴露出来，搞的挺累，即使到现在也还是有不少问题。想说的是，当然会去解，但是可能不会太快。一方面是因为到现在为止其实KernelPatch基本上就是我一个人在维护，我也只是个搬砖的，精力有限，歇一歇。另一方面 root 也还有 ksu 或者 magisk 这些更好的选择，apatch 虽说多了个很强的 KPM，但是应用场景较少，开发难度比较高，一般用户一般不会见到也不一定需要。说到这了，顺便说一下，时间允许的话，后面我可能会写一些 KPM，也可能不写，如果放出来，大概率不开源。
幸运的是APatch是在兄弟们的共同努力下完成的，我其实只是站在magisk,ksu这些巨人的肩膀上，抄抄改改，大家就加入了进来，比如清酒，少爷，ponces，marat 等等，还有为群组奉献的夜歌等等，就不一一列举了，辛苦辛苦。不过说实在的，现在开发人员太少，干不动啊，欢迎有兴趣的加入进来。
从项目开源后，偶尔就会人来问为什么开源。回答一下：就个人而言，最初的想法真的很单纯，就是想证明这个思路是可行的，后来就是为爱发电了，现在过来看这个过程中也并不是一无所获，起码学到了很多知识，就在前两天还机缘巧合发现了ksu的一个检测点，不知道和360的是不是同一个，360要多少，我只要个骨折价，源码奉上😂。就社会而言，吹大一点，格局打开，现在国内的安全行业不知道还能玩多久，真的需要新的思路进来。

I just noticed APatchLite, and this is not directed at APatchLite specifically. APatchLite is guaranteed to be safe as it is a version forked by a developer of the APatch app. However, there is an issue: the superkey is embedded in the source code, and it is not advisable to skip the setting of the superkey.

+1I have noticed that some users are sharing 32-bit APKs of both APatch and KernelSU nowadays.
Please remember that we do not support any ARM32 implementations yet, and these APKs you see are custom-made by third parties.
If someone injects a root manager with malicious code, they have complete read/write access to your device, including all the data stored in your "/".
That means any attacker can spy on you without leaving a single trace for a normal user.
We prioritize protecting your privacy.
If you choose third-party root manager apps, except officials, we cannot guarantee the protection of your data or your device.
Consider this a warning!
I'm not saying all the custom APKs contain backdoors, but installing third-party root management apps from untrusted sources is dangerous!
Edit : We've confirmed the APatch Lite is from our former developer ponces, but keep in mind the above warns.

A novel malicious module has emerged.
This module advertises itself by concealing the Bootloader unlock status. Once flashed, it renders your phone inoperable.
Do not place trust in anything that completely conceals the bootloader unlock status!

The issue stems from a flaw in the design of the app.
When writing authorization data to the file, the original file is not truncated first, meaning that although the new data is written from the beginning of the file, if the new data is less than the old data, the old data will not be cleared! A typical scenario is as follows: root permissions are granted to application A, which is then uninstalled directly, and then other new programs BCD are installed. If the UID assigned to the newly installed program matches the UID previously used by A, it will inadvertently be granted root permissions. *Excerpt from Weishu's explanation of the same issue in KernelSU*Returning to the main topic. You may attempt to delete the
/data/adb/ap/package_config file to reset APatch's root authorization, and then try reauthorizing root.

I just created a simple script to patch the boot image with APatch on Samsung devices.
- This script also disables the Samsung security features in the kernel.
- It might be able to fix bootloop issues on some devices.
- However, it didn't work on my device since it has a newer version of Samsung RKP and Control Flow Protection (CFP).
- You should try patching the boot image yourself; if it succeeds, you are lucky.
- If you know the hex patches for the new RKP and CFP, feel free to contribute..🙂

universal guide to convert read only super img to read write ( works only on devices with super imgs )
1. custom recovery pre installed
2. follow the link posted and download latest stable script
3. flash the script through custom recovery
4. choose partion size starting with minimal size / use custom size of your choice
5. debloat rom as per requirement if there's sizing error
6. use decryption if you are okay with data formatting else skip it
7. initiate the process
8. done your system is fully converted to read write

There's a problem with some terminal commands in APatch.
But don't worry! Here's a simple and temporary fix for it.
You'll need : Shizuku, Termux.
Procedure :
01. Open APatch and grant Shizuku root permissions.
02. Open Shizuku > tap on "Start".
03. Now select "Use Shizuku in terminal apps".
04. Choose "Export files" > save them to your storage.
05. Open Termux > change the working directory to the saved location.
06. Run the command
bash rish and grant Shizuku permission.
07. That's it! You're done.
* Just a reminder, this is only a temporary solution. We're working to fix the issue in future updates.
