DMCA takedown request was already submitted by us, will need to wait until Google Legal team processed it (and let's hope they don't reject it). This is extremely sketchy, make sure to have the original APK by Akane installed and not this "TigerCompassFlashlight".

If you have the original Omni app installed, you will now see this. Do not worry, "Sendfunds.app" cannot overwrite your original version of Omni. As long as you see the "The app installed on your device didn't come from Google Play" disclaimer, this is purely a cosmetic issue.

Hi guys, Akane here, I have news to announce. Accord is canceled. But why though? You might ask. Here’s a few major reasons: 1. I’m busy with my schoolwork and have a proper full-time job to do. Just as simple as that. I have moved on from my learning journey and fortunately accepted by a company that pays me well. Either I have to face the pressure from both the job and the eager users, or I can keep myself sane by removing few projects from my to-do list. 2. Lack of source of energy. Bought an iPhone. Every project I started is for my own use, then comes the community to share my work with. I no longer have the need for a music player on my phone. Using Apple Music now. It’s nice. 3. To avoid competition and involution. As most of you know, there’s an unpleasant history between me, and flamingo’s owner(Yos-X). Let me explain, Here’s what happened for real: 1. Someone I knew uploaded a version of accord to Yos-X’s group. 2. He took this very idea of mimicking Apple Music and made his own version of accord close sourced. 3. He took accord’s code (since accord is an open source app) as a reference to guide his way to some special visual effects. (e.g. Blendmode implementation) 4. He also watched if there’s any new visual changes with accord so he could implement it on so called his own version of accord. 5. That leads to competition. I just hate it. I had the special idea that nobody comes up with, then someone took it and you can’t even accuse him of ripping off because you’re all ripoffs for Apple Music. What makes it worse is that now there’s even an injustice competition. Now, users ask me to compete with flamingo. Now, flamingo users came to attack accord saying accord is trash or I am trash. Well, guys. You won. Now I don’t have to suffer from thousands of ETA quests but Yos-X has to. Now I won’t give any new features and I’m interested in what will happen next with flamingo’s design development. —————————————————— However, it’s not my goodbye yet. I’ll still hang around to submit a few patches for the little project of ours — Gramophone. Or even start a new one, who knows :D I really appreciate my folks for supporting me till today. That's because since we've grown so strong and accepted too many new members, thus including "akane" in the organization name isn't appropriate anymore. This violation is resolved since flamingo's owner provided me with controversial code snippet to review and removed FFmpeg extension. Again, we hope that this problem can be resolved quickly, peacefully. Although flamingo's owner didn't cooperate at first but he took fast reaction.

Actually I did, on tencent messenger!! :D "Flamingo never intended to draw inspiration from Accord, and all interface design, imitation (imitating iOS), and code writing were done by us." Self conflicting words "As a work that imitates Apple Music, we don't think Akane has the right to criticize others." I have the right to file a letter to fsf, yes. "Flamingo will temporarily remove FFmpeg decoding support and reintroduce full LGPL license FFmpeg support in the future. Flamingo will completely remove previously introduced and now unused Accord related code implementations." Is that a valid response? I think NOT.

According to this license description and the prebuilt aar version used by flamingo, I am sure that the FFmpeg extension included in flamingo has used libAVCodec's x86 optimization open sourced with GPL 3.0 license. The owner himself also told in a tencent messenger group that he IS including accord source code which is released and distributed under GPL license in his source and as a reference for his implement for dynamic background (Ask me directly for evidence). I have notified the violation to Yos-X, who is the owner of flamingo and he did not reply and did not publish the source code. Therefore I am doing open source abbreviation to respond flamingo's violation. Flamingo is a proprietary software that blasphemes open source spirit. NOBODY should use it. Akane foundation urges everyone join the abbreviation towards GNU General Public license, may include but not limited to: Stop using the software, notify anyone who's not aware of this violation presence.
