#2ndYear     #SoEEC This morning I met with the SoEEC registrar head and spoke to him. I was going somewhere, he saw me and called me. So now I will put our literal conversation here. (Sir, if you're seeing this, I posted this to let them know what's happening. In fact, I will not add or leave anything out.) Him: Why did you post that paper with cutoffs on your channel? Me: I just got it from some random group and I couldn't confirm it as you didn't tell me the information. So I just posted it with the caption "We haven't confirmed it yet," as it may or may not be correct. Him: Where did you get it? Me: From some random group. Him: Who posted it first? Me: I don't know. Nobody knows who he/she is. Him: You know that having a channel isn't an easy thing. It's a big deal. You will be responsible for everything you post on your channel. You shouldn't post unconfirmed stuff, okay? It didn't even have a stamp, right? Me: Yes, it didn't have one. I just posted it thinking it might be true, even though I didn't think so. Him: Don't do stuff like this again! ☝ Me: Okay sir. But could you tell me the correct cutoff points, please? Him: It isn't necessary. It's the system which does the placement, not us. Me: Like when you were announcing the points in previous years, if you do the same this year, I will help the next students to compare the points and choose the department they might be qualified for. Him: No, no! It isn't necessary. We will not announce it from now on. The students themselves know the CGPA they got. Me: Yes, but it's important for both the second years who joined the department to know in what grade they got into their department and for the next students to compare their points. Him: I said no! በከፍተኛ ትምህርት ተቋማት የመውጫ ፈተና ውጤታማነት ላይ እየተደረገ ያለው ጥናት በቅርቡ ይፋ ደደረጋል፡፡ - ትምህርት ሚኒስቴር "የመውጫ ፈተናው ምን ጥቅም አመጣ? የገጠመው ችግር ምንድን ነው? ወደፊትስ ምን መስተካከል አለበት?" በሚሉት ላይ በጥናቱ መረጃዎች መሰብሰባቸውን በትምህርት ሚኒስቴር የከፍተኛ ትምህርት ልማት ዘርፍ ሚኒስትር ዴኤታ አቶ ኮራ ጡሽኔ አስረድተዋል። "በተለይ ፈተና የሚወድቁ ተማሪዎች የት እንደሚገኙ፣ ምን እንደሚሠሩ፣ ምን እንደሚያስቡ ማወቅና ውጤታማ እንዲሆኑስ ምን ማድረግ ያስፈልጋል" በሚለው ላይ ውሳኔ ላይ መድረስ የጥናቱ ዓላማዎች መሆናቸውን ገልፀዋል፡፡ ብዛት ያላቸው ተማሪዎች ፈተናውን እንደሚወድቁ የገለፁት ሚኒስትር ዴኤታው፤ ሁለት እና ሦስት ጊዜ እንዲፈተኑ ሲደረግ ያለውስ ነገር ምን ይመስላል የሚለውን ለማየትና ለመለየት፣ ጥናቱ እንደሚረዳም አስገንዝበዋል፡፡ በሚቀጥለው አንድ ወይም ሁለት ወር ውስየጥናቱ ውጤት ይፋ እንደሚደረግ ሚኒስትር ዴኤታው ገልፀዋል። በመጀመሪያ ዲግሪ ለሚመረቁ ተማሪዎች የመውጫ ፈተና ከሰኔ 2015 ዓ.ም ጀምሮ እየተሰጠ እንደሚገኝ ይታወቃል፡፡ #ሪፖርተር @tikvahuniversity
