Some good news around the world. The Jaguar population in Mexico has increased by more than 30% since 2014, reaching 5236 individuals. South Korea has launched night buses exclusively for women to make it safer for them to travel home. After years of devastating drought, rain and snow have finally returned to Iran, with dams overflowing across the country. A laboratory (in vitro) study showed that dandelion root extracts can destroy up to 95% of tumor cells in just two days. The Yurok tribe of California has regained the lands of their ancestors, taken from them more than 120 years ago. Finland has been officially recognized as the best country for families. In Netherlands, they created a village for people with dementia, where caregivers play the roles of neighbors and shopkeepers to avoid a hospital-like atmosphere. Przewalski's horses, the last truly wild horses, have returned to the wild after about 200 years. @acceptthyself

I wanted to make some clarifications with this post of mine. I noticed some people ask, what's the purpose of this channel? Then I thought, that's actually a good question, so why don't I write an answer to that and here we are) First of all I'm not here to sell you a course, advertise or promote something (I've never posted an ad and will never post an ad), so it must've seemed to be too good to be true for them. Plus, I'm not trying to perform for some audience or being fake, nor pretending to be someone I'm not. I mostly post what I find to be useful to you guys, and I'm still exploring, testing, researching, this is my first time having a huge audience and at the same time this gives me a responsibility of where I direct most of the youngsters, I don't wanna steal your time and attention at all with some slop content or posting nonsense like some "influencers" do. At the beginning, we mostly focused on reading challenge. Twice actually, and I've never felt more happier and grateful for the impact it had, even before that this was just a backup channel (just in case). Now that there's a lot of us and that number is still growing, the philosophy of this channel has been very clear, accepting yourself, acceptance as a transformation not just preservation. And I have to point out I'm blessed to have one of the best members here, I've never thought I would be exploring the posts, ideas in a more deeper level with people, now I can and I wanna thank you all for making it possible. I hope this partly answers or tried to answer that question for people who are seeing it for the first time. Peace 🕊 @acceptthyself

"Usually when people ask how I'm doing, the real answer is I'm doing shitty, but I can't say I'm doing shitty because I don't even have a good reason to be doing shitty. So if I say, 'I'm doing shitty,' then they say, 'Why? What's wrong?' And I have to be like, 'I don't know, all of it?' So instead, when people ask how I'm doing, I usually say, 'I am doing so great." - BoJack @acceptthyself

The Teenager Now that you pushed away from your parents. Good. That's exactly what was supposed to happen. But now you're standing alone and it's... terrifying, isn't it? So your brain does the only logical thing, it looks around for a group to belong to. A tribe. A crowd. Anything that screams and says "you're one of us!" And suddenly everything is about what other people think. Your clothes. Your body. Your opinions. Even your taste in music. All of it quietly calibrated to one invisible question: do they approve? (a post I made a year ago, highlighted in blue) Someone calls you a loser in front of people and it ruins your entire week.. You change your style because the group changed theirs. You date someone not because you like them but because having someone feels like proof of something.. This makes complete sense by the way. You left your parents, your original safe base, and the world felt suddenly cold and open. A group becomes the new warmth and norm. It's not actually a weakness, an ancient wiring so to say. Tribes kept humans alive for thousands of years in fact. The trap though... is that you start building your entire identity on land that isn't yours. Other people's opinions. Other people's validation. Other people's reactions. And people are inconsistent. They leave. They change. They disappear. The exit door here is the quietest realization: the safety you've been chasing in other people's eyes. It was inside you the whole time. You just never dared to look in there. Shall we do the daring ceremony after this post gets 150 heart reactions? @acceptthyself

The Child When you are born, you literally can't survive on your own.. you just can't. You need someone to feed, hold and protect you. Your brain at that point doesn't even understand that you are a separate entity from your mom. You feel like you are kind of.... an extension of her. Now here's this thing. Some people grow up physically but their inner world stays here. How do you know it? Simple, whenever something goes wrong, their first thought is "it's someone else's fault". Their manager is bad. Their parents ruined them. The city is bad. The government is to blame. Scapegoating effect... Someone is always responsible. And that someone is never the person in the mirror. The trap of this is that very blame feels like a relief. It genuinely does. But it keeps you frozen. The exit door here is: stop that blame on your parents. Not because they were perfect - maybe they weren't but because the moment you stop handing them the steering wheel of your life, you start driving it yourself ;) 100 doves on this post and we will see how to tell if you've already left this age behind. @acceptthyself

You are what you consume and what you consume is what you decide. Perhaps you aren't a combination of neurons firing and atoms in your brain, what if you are the idea? You bring them into world with the help of words, what matters is what you are focusing on. Ahror's Thoughts | Beta
