What if there was a snake in the show?

Finished building my first react app(a mini job portal for people to post their specialty and employers can search and find them), i thought migrating from another framework would be horrible but it was not actually that bad , syntax may change but the core concepts live on. this was an assignment from yenetta bootcamp that we got (they decided the ui and sent wireframes, so i had no choice in the matter , dont judge )

😃The latest project ive been working on,OSmerkato just launched it is an ecommerce website for a supermarket we built for a client in collaboration with @henacodes. and it supports English, Amharic and afan oromo , it was a cool project to test ourselves on tech stack ✅Sveltekit ✅ExpressJs ✅NodeJs ✅SQL ✅Prisma Lessons learned ✔️Yegara host doesnt offically support NodeJs so if u have any issues , youre on your own ✔️Do not let the customer determine the price or negotiate pay after the work is done thinking they will see the effort you put in and will be fair , theyll take every paycut they can https://osmerkato.com/

then there was an introduction to blockchain mining and how to get into it, now ill be honest this was a topic I just had surface level knowledge on and no knowledge of how the things worked so this was quite an interesting bit for me, realized I actually need Hella equipment and electricity to start a farm and I don’t have that so I guess its not a path meant for me, for now atleast. finally came contributing to an open course with Bereket engeda (@beka_cru) which was game changing for me, I never realized the true power and potential of helping people on their projects and accepting help on yours so it was an eye opener and I will from now on be contributing and letting people contribute to my projects more often. Highlight of the program for me was meeting the people of @codeNight that I have been interacting with online and its finally nice to put faces to the names like @Robi_mez, @yohan_nes, @Chill_vibez, @Itachiinthesky, @Baydis, @Nabiloo_19 and my friend @eyos_ias (don’t be mad if I forgot to name anyone just tell me and ill edit the message fr).

So, I just attended the GDG devfest 2023 and it was a good experience, we got to learn about the ALX program which was a good course for those of you that are beginner's but I went through their course outline and realized I already know everything on it so I will not be attending it. we then got introduced to Chapa payment integration system, which I had experience with when I was working on my "easy cash" platform when I used both that and santim pay to see which one was better so again, nothing new to learn here but they have added some cool features to make it easier to integrate compared to when I used it. Then there was an introduction of the career market and how to navigate through it and use social media to your advantage guide given by one of our own Yohannes Haile. This I feel like was a really good lessons for those trying to both break into the company market and get employed or those trying to freelance and get a client , after all being a successful coder aint just about being good at coding...
