Anil, a 28-year-old wheat seller, lives with his wife, mother, and sister. Excited for his sister Nehas marriage to Ajay, a soon-to-be civil servant, Anil agrees to a dowry. To fund it, he plans to sell his late fathers land, only to find its under litigation by MLA Amar Singh.
