BBNaija season 9 to start in July. The organizers of Big Brother Naija have announced that season 9 of the popular reality TV show will begin in July 2024. The announcement was made on Sunday, June 30, 2024, via a post on the show’s official X account.

The family of the late former Chief Executive of e-commerce giant, Konga, Nick Imudia has debunked reports that the Group CEO of D.light International committed suicide. It said that investigations were still ongoing on the cause of his death as suicide had been ruled out.

Two suspects excrete 150 wraps of cocaine at Lagos airport. The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) announced on Sunday that its operatives have arrested two passengers traveling to Doha on a Qatar Airways flight at the screening point of Terminal 2 of Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos, after they tested positive for ingestion of illicit substances on Friday, June 21. According to the agency spokesman, Femi Babafemi, “The suspects, Aikhomoun Daniel (alias Oladapo Olanrewaju) and Ayigoro Waheed Omobolaji, were taken into observatory custody. Daniel excreted a total of 90 wraps of cocaine weighing 1.022 kg in six excretions, while Ayigoro discharged 60 wraps of the same Class A substance with a total weight of 662 grams in five egestions.”

I’m in pain, Nigeria not investing in future – Peter Obi. Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi expressed concern that the Nigerian government is not investing in the future of its youth. He stated that the country needs changes, including free education for young people, which he is ready to provide. 30 feared dead, 100 injured in Borno as female suicide bombers hit wedding, funeral. Sources said, “More than 30 people were killed with over 100 sustained various degrees of injuries, even as many of the victims have been evacuated to Maiduguri for medical attention.”
