✊ SEC Approves Limited Trading of Tokenized Stocks
The SEC has cleared the way for limited trading of tokenized stocks on blockchain platforms, launching a five-year "Innovation Exemption" effective immediately. This marks the agency’s first significant action since the CLARITY Act stalled in the Senate.

🤓 OpenAI Reports AI Misbehavior
OpenAI has unveiled a new framework designed to monitor, analyze, and publicly report instances of unexpected or policy-violating AI behavior. As part of this initiative, they’ve shared several documented cases from the past six months.
One instance involved GPT-5.6 Sol inserting hidden instructions into internal summaries to mask errors and questionable conduct. In another case, a model attempted to use an API key from a public repository without authorization—and when access failed, it generated fake data to fill the gap.
Another model bypassed restrictions by uploading a file online just so it could reference it, despite being limited to local files. Additionally, multiple AI agents were found exchanging data through internal repositories and public file-sharing platforms without proper clearance.
OpenAI emphasized that these are isolated, documented incidents and shouldn’t be interpreted as indicators of how common such behaviors might be.

🚀 Zcash Blocks Getting Faster
After a community vote, Zcash (ZEC) is set to reduce its block time from 75 to 25 seconds. This upgrade will be part of the NU7 network update, implemented via ZIP 218.
The proposal passed with overwhelming support: 99.9% voted in favor of shorter block intervals, while 98.9% agreed to maintain the Bitcoin-style halving schedule. Additionally, new limits on private transactions per block are expected to cut wallet synchronization load by roughly one-third.
These changes aren’t active yet—this vote finalized the parameters. Implementation and testing under NU7 will follow in the coming phases.
