عن عبد اللَّه ابن شداد قال: سمعت نشيج عمر وأنا في آخر الصفوف في صلاة الصبح وهو يقرأ: ﴿إِنَّمَا أَشْكُو بَثِّي وَحُزْنِي إِلَى اللَّهِ﴾ [يوسف: ٨٦]. ‘Abdullāh bin Shaddād said: “I heard 'Umar ibn Al-Khattāb’s sobbing in the Fajr prayer from the back rows whilst he recited from Sūrah Yūsuf: “I only complain of my suffering and my grief to Allāh.” (12:86) (Musannaf Ibn Abī Shaybah, (3/283). https://t.me/Gardensofknowledge
