As some of you might now, I am a part of Storily, and in our first cohort, I was the curriculum developer and teacher at Storily. 👩‍💻 Our aim is not only to empower females to develop their individual identities, but also to expand their horizons to the point where every girl can understand the hidden sides of the world like bureaucratic agencies that regulate our life, the social communities around us and so many more. 👥 We are expanding our project to allow more females to develop the most important skills that no one teaches about! ✨Celebrating Influential Women in History: Amelia Earhart ✨ ✈️ Aviation Pioneer: Amelia Earhart's love for flying ignited her groundbreaking journey in the field of aviation. On May 20-21, 1932, she accomplished a historic feat by becoming the first female aviator to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean. 📊 AMBITIOUS WOMEN HAVE MADE SIGNIFICANT CONTRIBUTIONS to the fields STEM throughout history. However, their achievements have often been overlooked or underappreciated. To encourage the next generation of innovators. 🧪As an example of an ambitious woman in STEM is Marie Curie, the first woman to win a Nobel Prize and the only person to win Nobel Prizes in two different sciences. She discovered the elements polonium and radium, and her work on radioactivity paved the way for advancements in CANCER TREATMENT AND NUCLEAR PHYSICS 🧭Another inspiring woman in STEM is Grace Hopper, a computer scientist and mathematician who INVENTED THE FIRST COMPILER, which allowed programmers to write code in a high-level language and have it translated into machine code.
