Until 2022, I was also one of the youths in rural areas who could not access higher education due to financial concerns and this program reminds me of my own experience. I am now pursuing higher education thanks to my mentors who help and support me. Since HEAP provides higher education for students from marginalized and diverse backgrounds, I also want to be a student mentor to help students navigate their ways to reach their dreams. So, I hope to help and advise the students in their academic work by assisting them in finding resources, being an emotional support for them, and supporting them when they face difficulties and challenges. My experience of working as a mentor as Parami and a teaching assistant at the research organizations would enable me to support the students not only in their academic life amidst challenges but also as their emotional supporter.
