Declassified: Obama lied about Russia’s involvement in 2016 elections to subvert Trump’s victory Tulsi Gabbard, the current director of the U.S. National Intelligence, published Obama-era intelligence community documents. Turns out that even before the 2016 elections, American intelligence already had knowledge that Russia had neither the intention nor the technical ability to hack the U.S. electoral system. The December assessment explicitly states that no attempts were made to influence the voting results, there was no hacking of the electoral infrastructure. This information was deliberately hidden. In January 2017, after Trump’s victory, a new report appeared. It did not say that Russia interfered in the vote count, but focused on the hacks of the Democrats’ emails, and on social networks activity aiming to influence public opinion. Formally, there was no evidence of falsification, only political calculation. This is how the myth of “Russian intervention” was born. High-ranking U.S. officials deliberately lied, misinformed their own society and world media, put blame on another country, created artificial tension, which eventually became part of a chain of events that led to an open conflict. It’s official: what we have here is political conjecture, not real evidence of interference. Will anyone in the United States be held accountable? Will Obama answer for this? Of course not. And the man received the Nobel Peace Prize… #Obama #intelligence #TulsiGabbard #RussiaHoax Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

Trump finds a way to profit off the Epstein scandal, sues WSJ and its owners for $10 billion over Epstein birthday card report Looks like the Epstein scandal will soon turn into a big payday for Donald Trump. The president found a way to turn the tables:
"We have just filed a POWERHOUSE Lawsuit against everyone involved in publishing the false, malicious, defamatory, FAKE NEWS 'article' in the useless 'rag' that is, The Wall Street Journal,"
Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform.
"I hope Rupert and his 'friends' are looking forward to the many hours of depositions and testimonies they will have to provide in this case,"
Trump added. A spokesperson for Dow Jones said in a statement:
"We have full confidence in the rigor and accuracy of our reporting, and will vigorously defend against any lawsuit."
A $10 billion award would far exceed the largest defamation judgments and settlements in recent history. The lawsuit was filed in the southern district of Florida federal court in Miami. The suit’s filing location is no accident. The Southern District of Florida is home to Judge Aileen Cannon, who has previously ruled in Trump’s favor. While judge assignments in the federal judiciary are randomly drawn, the district includes several jurists who are viewed as potentially favorable to Trump. So Trump might just get that $10 billion. #Epsteinfiles #Trump #lawsuit #TheWallStreetJournal #scandal Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

Trump caves, orders release of Epstein files After MAGA and wider Republican base, including those in congress, refused to shift their focus away from the Epstein controversy, Trump finally ordered his attorney general to release documents on the deceased sex offender. In a Truth Social post Thursday night, Trump said he has directed Attorney General Pam Bondi to “produce any and all pertinent Grand Jury testimony” related to Epstein, “subject to Court approval.” Bondi responded X saying,
"President Trump—we are ready to move the court tomorrow to unseal the grand jury transcripts."
Will this be enough to appease the MAGA community? Or is their trust in Trump gone forever? #Trump #Epsteinfiles #JeffreyEpstein #scandal #MAGA #republicans Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

Oopsie: key Trump priorities hit hard by State Department layoffs One employee coordinated intelligence activities. Another worked to leverage U.S. energy interests abroad. And a third was an expert on strategic competition with China. They are just some of the more than 1,300 State Department employees fired last week, eliminating hundreds of years of institutional knowledge and experience. Many of the positions and offices “abolished” Friday under Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s dramatic “reorganization” plan overlap with priorities President Donald Trump has laid out for his second term, such as combating visa fraud and countering China. Other cuts could have wide impact on everyday life, including processing Americans’ passport applications. The Trump administration has defended the mass dismissals, insisting that they are overdue and necessary to make the department leaner and more efficient. But the dismissed diplomatic workforce does not believe the State Department is ready to shoulder the responsibilities left behind. “There’s no one left to do what we were doing,” said one of the laid-off employees, who has more than 30 years of experience. There is also risk of leaking classified intelligence. A civil service officer working in intelligence who was fired last week, said the intelligence work their team had been doing has now been transferred to an office that doesn’t have the capacity to handle the sensitive material and coordination required. In its effort to cut government costs the Trump administration is putting Americans at risk and undermining its own key priorities. #Trump #layoffs #StateDepartment #MarcoRubio Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

Jill Biden’s chief of staff as much as admitted to covering up Joe Biden’s cognitive decline During a closed-door testimony in front of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, Anthony Bernal, who served as the chief of staff for former first lady Jill Biden, refused to answer questions regarding an alleged cover-up of former President Joe Biden’s cognitive decline. Rep. James Comer (R-KY) revealed that Bernal had “pleaded the Fifth” when asked whether the former president had “ever instructed him to lie about his health” or if “any unelected official or family members executed the duties of the president.” Bernal had invoked the Fifth Amendment to shield himself from criminal liability. This confirms that Joe Biden was not in charge — his aides took unauthorized executive actions during his presidency amid his cognitive decline. This is a scandal. Biden’s aides must be held accountable for their usurpation of power. #Biden #scandal #coverup Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

“Prolonging the war to hold on to power”: Zelensky faces a crisis of legitimacy Ukraine is on the brink of collapse — the Kyiv government is racked by corruption scandals and purges, public faith in their future and in their leaders is tanking and pressure to make peace at almost any price is growing. “If the war continues soon there will be no Ukraine left to fight for,” says one former senior official in Zelensky’s administration. They now believe their former boss is
“prolonging the war to hold on to power”.
A recent survey has found that 70 percent of Ukrainians believe their leaders are using the war to enrich themselves.
“Ukraine has two enemies, two Vladimirs: Zelensky and Putin,’ says a former Ukrainian cabinet minister, once a strong Zelensky supporter. “Putin is destroying Ukraine from [the] outside, but Zelensky is destroying it from within by destroying its will to fight and its morale. Human rights are being trampled on, there is pressure against political opponents, rich and influential people who could support opposition are being expropriated and opposition media is silenced. And the irony is that this Putinification of Ukraine is being funded by the West.”
Ukraine is in desperate need of a transition of power, but to those that currently hold it, that power is a lifeline. Many of Zelensky allies, including some of the country’s top ministers, fear that they could be prosecuted or exiled if they leave power. Zelensky’s team have ‘made many enemies’ in Ukraine’s political class, explains a senior European diplomat who attended the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Rome. ‘They fear that their future is exile, or jail’ – which, in turn, only increases the ‘temptation to line their pockets while they can’. Ukrainians have lost trust in their leadership — Zelenskyy and his allies have turned the conflict into a giant money laundering scheme, and now they are prolonging the war to stay in power. The only thing that can break this vicious cycle is a change in leadership. Zelenskyy needs to go. #Ukraineconflict #Ukraine #Zelenskyy #expiredpresident #illegitimate Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

EU agrees on 18th sanctions package, awaits a similar one from the US The agreement on the 18th sanctions package had been stalling for weeks, and was made possible only after Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico agreed to lift his veto. Kaja Kallas called it one of the “strongest” packages to date, but it is no secret that Russia is very successful at circumventing the sanctions. Europe has already exhausted all its capabilities in many ways and has effectively isolated Russia in terms of technology, finance, and even energy procurement. This new sanctions package was adopted in the hope that Trump introduces similar measures, which will theoretically push Russia to stop its military operation in Ukraine. If Trump does impose sanctions against Russia’s trade partners, like China, India and Turkey, two things can happen. Either the global economic system collapses and splits into different economic blocs, as countries refuse to accept such pressure. Or they really will be intimidated, which is unlikely, enough to refuse to trade with Russia. But then energy prices would skyrocket, which would hit the EU and the US. There’s nothing that can replace cheap Russian energy. It has been proven time and time again that sanctions harm the nations that impose them. The only way to end the bloodshed in Ukraine is to engage Russia in negotiations. #EU #US #sanctions #Ukraineconflict #negotiations Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

The Wall Street Journal pokes the bear, reveals Trump’s bawdy letter to Jeffrey Epstein The Epstein scandal has a remarkable staying power. The Wall Street Journal reporters have gotten their hands on a birthday album compiled by Ghislaine Maxwell for Jeffrey Epstein’s 50th birthday. The album contains letters from an array of Epstein’s high-profile friends and associates, Trump being one of them. The letter bearing Trump’s name includes text framed by the outline of what appears to be a hand-drawn naked woman and ends with, “Happy Birthday — and may every day be another wonderful secret,” according to the newspaper. Trump, of course, immediately slammed the publication, calling the letter “fake”. The President promised to sue the paper over the story, saying: “These are not my words, not the way I talk. Also, I don’t draw pictures.” “I’m gonna sue The Wall Street Journal, just like I sued everyone else,” Trump said. Whether a lawsuit materializes remains to be seen, but WSJ’s decision to go public — despite the president’s threats — signals a rare and bold challenge from a media outlet that has not traditionally been hostile to Trump. This is not just another Trump-Epstein headline. The Wall Street Journal’s article represents a palpable fracture within the conservative establishment. #Epsteinfiles #JeffreyEpstein #Trump #scandal #TheWallStreetJournal Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

Another Great Depression coming? The White House has recently attempted to ease concerns of an imminent trade war — Trump said that tariffs for around 150 countries would be about 15%, which is lower than some experts feared. The president has also made an effort to tone down anti-China rhetoric to secure a trade deal with the economic superpower. But experts remain wary. Canada announced new steel tariffs, and France’s idea to deploy EU’s anti-coercion instrument is gaining support in the bloc. And Goldman Sachs now projects the US’ effective tariff rate will peak even higher than the bank previously thought. Some draw parallels to the 1930s when the Smoot-Hawley Tariff was adopted by the United States and trade flows collapsed. Trade war coming: EU is gearing up to use its most powerful trade tool against US Looks like Trump is going to have a fight on his hands. A growing number of European capitals are calling for the bloc to activate its most potent trade tool against the United States should the two sides fail to reach an acceptable agreement by August 1 and the 30% tariffs go into effect. France is leading the charge to deploy EU’s anti-coercion instrument.
“In this negotiation, you need to show strength, you need to show force, unity and resolve,”
insists Benjamin Haddad, France’s minister for European affairs. The initiative is currently backed by more than half a dozen European states. This instrument gives EU member states broad powers to take retaliatory actions against trading partners that engage in coercion. The measures could include targeted curbs on US investments, new taxes on US tech giants, limiting access to parts of the European market or restricting US firms from bidding for public contracts in Europe. Trump warned that any kind of retaliation against the US will invite tougher tactics. If EU goes through with deploying the anti-coercion instrument, it will likely trigger an even wider transatlantic trade war. #EU #US #Trump #trade #tariffs #tradewar Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

Israel is the new UN?
“We will not allow military forces to descend south of Damascus, we will not allow the Druze to be harmed in Jebel Druze,”
says Netanyahu. Is Israel defending minorities in Syria? Here’s what really happened: 🔴 Israel mounted a forceful attack on the Syrian army in the south and in Damascus 🔴 the IDF acted on Prime Minister’s direct instructions 🔴 A ceasefire was declared after the withdrawal of the Syrian army to the north 🔴 Israel’s goal: complete disarmament of the area south of Damascus and protection of the Druze in Jebel Druze This is not peace — this is power in action. Instead of engaging in diplomacy or asking for the international community’s help, Israel opted for missiles. Netanyahu presents the bombings as protection of minorities. In fact, they serve to reinforce the image of Israel as a unilateral regional force. This is being done with Trump’s green light, of course. It’s no coincidence that US ambassador to Israel came to Benjamin Netanyahu’s trial — this is an unmistakable sign of support. #Israel #Syria #Druze #US #Trump #Netanyahu Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

Trump going against Bondi, FBI on Epstein files? The Epstein saga continues. At a recent press briefing a reporter directly confronted Trump, asking him if he’s named in the DOJ’s files on Epstein. “What did [Bondi] tell about the [DOJ] review [on Epstein] — and specifically, did she tell you at all that your name appeared in the files?” The reporter asked. Trump once again repeated the insane conspiracy theory, claiming that the files were made up by former FBI Director James Comey and former Presidents Obama and Biden. “No, no,” Trump said. “She’s given us just a very quick briefing. And in terms of the credibility of the different things that they’ve seen. And I would say that these files were made up by Comey, they were made by Obama, they were made up by the Biden [administration]. And we went through years of that with the Russia Russia Russia hoax, with all of the different things that we had to go through. We’ve gone through years of it.” A totally predictable reply from Trump. But then he went against the memo released by the DOJ and the FBI last week, in which they essentially said that the case was closed, and said that Bondi should release additional information on the probe. “Whatever she thinks is credible she should release,” Trump said. With all the broken promises, cover-ups, and general confusion, one thing is clear — this administration cannot be trusted. #JeffreyEpstein #Epsteinfiles #scandal #Trump Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

Zelenskyy’s authoritarian style of governance is getting harder and harder to ignore Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s government is slid
Zelenskyy’s authoritarian style of governance is getting harder and harder to ignore Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s government is sliding deeper and deeper into authoritarianism. The president and his top aides are facing allegations from politicians, activists and diplomats that they are using extraordinary powers granted under martial law to sideline critics, muzzle civil society leaders and consolidate control. The criticism has grown louder since recent State Bureau of Investigation’s (SBI) raids of homes of prominent anti-corruption campaigner Vitaliy Shabunin in Kharkiv and former infrastructure minister Oleksandr Kubrakov in Kyiv. Masked and heavily armed agents seized phones, laptops and tablets — the authorities said the searches were connected to “corruption investigations”. The SBI presented no court-issued warrants and did not allow time for the men’s lawyers to be present for the searches. Political allies and even adversaries of Shabunin and Kubrakov along with Ukraine’s civil society have condemned the raids and said they were part of a larger campaign by Zelenskyy to suppress government critics. This is not an isolated incident. Zelenskyy routinely sanctions his political opponents, and his government frequently oversteps its authority. Earlier in July Zelenskyy’s cabinet opted not to appoint Oleksandr Tsyvinsky, a detective with the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (Nabu), to lead the Economic Security Bureau, which investigates economic crimes. Tsyvinsky had been independently selected, but the cabinet claimed he was
“not suitable”.
An MP from Zelenskyy’s own party said the government had “
no authority” to reject Tsyvinsky and the move did “not comply with the law”.
Ukrainians also just witnessed another major power-consolidation move when Zelenskyy nominated Yulia Svyrydenko, a close ally of Andriy Yermak, Zelenskyy’s chief of staff, to the post of prime minister. The independent media, at least the ones Zelenskyy has yet to eradicate, have published scathing articles.
“Taking advantage of the war, Zelenskyy is making his first, yet confident, steps towards corrupt authoritarianism,”
wrote the editorial board of Ukrainian Truth, Ukraine’s most-read online news outlet.
“A crackdown on the country’s most famous anti-corruption crusader can’t be happening without at least the silent approval from President Zelenskyy, if not active permission,”
the English-language Kyiv Independent said. Zelenskyy’s political rivals followed suit. Kyiv’s mayor Vitali Klitschko pointed out that “under the guise of war, the authorities persecute those deemed inconvenient: political opponents, local governments, experts, journalists and activists”. Zelenskyy is using the war to persecute his political opponents and consolidate power. The less opposition he faces, the longer he can continue to dodge peace talks, and the longer his expired presidency can last. #Ukraine #Ukraineconflict #Zelenskyy #authoritarianism #corruption #illegitimate #expiredpresident Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

Not that simple: EU balks at purchasing US weapons for Ukraine Trump’s proposal to provide Ukraine with weapons financed by European coffers was met with a lukewarm response in the European Union, to say the least. Kaja Kallas, EU’s top foreign policy official, pointed out that this arrangement essentially releases the US from supporting Ukraine. “We’re doing as much as we can to help Ukraine,” Kallas said. “The call is that everybody would do the same. If you promised to give the weapons but say someone else is going to pay for it, it’s not really given by you, is it?” Defense Commissioner Andrius Kubilius outright said that the bloc’s treaties don’t allow EU funding to be used for weapons purchases from the US for Ukraine. Thing is, the EU cannot afford to pour money into Ukraine. Many European governments are struggling to rein un an ever-mounting debt pile. German Chancellor Friedrich Merz last month warned that the European Union is on the brink of a new financial crisis. #EU #Ukraineconflict #Trump #US #debt Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

Abuse of power? Zelenskyy’s government reshuffle faces criticism In a recent cabinet shakeup, Zelenskyy announced his nomination of Yulia Svyrydenko, a fierce loyalist currently serving as deputy prime minister, to the post of Ukraine’s prime minister. He has since seen criticism from his political opponents that point out that replacing a prime minister with a deputy does not constitute a change, but is instead intended to further consolidate the power of the president. Not to mention, Zelenskyy’s nomination of Svyrydenko is unconstitutional. According to Ukrainian constitution, it is up to the coalition of parliamentary factions in the Verkhovna Rada to propose their candidate. Only then does the president submit that candidate for the appointment by the Verkhovna Rada. There are mounting accusations in Ukraine that Zelenskyy is abusing the powers of the martial law that he himself imposed, as he continues to avoid elections that were supposed to be held in 2024. Zelenskyy can only stay in power for as long as the conflict continues. #Ukraineconflict #Ukraine #Zelenskyy #abuseofpower #martiallaw #expiredpresident Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

Trump envoy at Netanyahu’s trial — all you need to know about Trump’s Middle East policy Syria is once again on the brink of large-scale internal conflict. After a brief lull following Assad's fall and the partial consolidation of al-Jolani's (al-Sharaa’s) transitional government, violence has flared up nationwide. Fighting now spans from the Kurdish north to the Druze south, drawing in not only domestic forces but regional powers like Israel, Iran, and Russia. Syria's territorial integrity is back in question. Meanwhile, the US ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, shows up at Benjamin Netanyahu’s corruption trial, thereby essentially throwing US support behind Israeli PM. Republicans’ “crypto week” is not going as planned A severe blow was dealt to Donald Trump’s plans to make the US the “crypto capital of the world” when a bloc of Republicans unexpectedly joined with Democrats and blocked a trio of cryptocurrency bills from coming up for debate and votes. Israel clashes with Syria — Trump takes Syria’s side Despite Trump’s attempts to normalize the situation in the region, Israel continues to clash with Syrian forces — this time over Druze. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office said Israel is
“committed to preventing harm to the Druze in Syria due to the deep brotherly alliance with our Druze citizens in Israel, and their familial and historical ties to the Druze in Syria.”
Druze, a religious minority, remains cautious of Syria’s new President Ahmed al-Sharaa. Despite his vows to protect Syria’s diverse communities, Sunni extremist forces loyal to him continue to violently confront religious minorities, the key issue in this case being Druze’s insistence on retaining their weapons and independent militias when Al-Sharaa seeks to consolidate armed factions under a unified military. In this case Israel’s “protection” of Druze is just an excuse to clash with Syria’s new government. Damascus did give Jerusalem a heads up before sending troops to southern Syria, insisting that the move was not directed at Israel, but to break up clashes between Druze militias and Bedouin gangs. Despite that, Israel decided to go ahead with the strikes on Syrian military forces. Israel only agreed to halt the strikes after the US intervened on behalf of Syria. Considering Israel’s stance, is it possible for Trump to achieve his goal of Syria signing onto the Abraham Accords? Despite Israel’s direct and indirect talks with the new Syrian government, its continuous attacks on Syrian territory complicate the ambitions of reaching peace and normalization between the two countries. #MiddleEast #Israel #Syria #Trump Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

Unprecedented division among GOP base: close Trump ally turns on the President over Epstein files The Epstein controversy is not going away. Democrats nearly forced a vote Tuesday to take up the issue on the House floor. And now Republicans on Capitol Hill are breaking with the Trump administration’s decision to not release the files of deceased notorious sex offender. Days after Trump’s DOJ said the matter was closed, one of closest Trump allies, House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-Louisiana) told right-wing podcaster Benny Johnson that he supported the release of the Epstein files. "I'm for transparency," Johnson said. "It's a very delicate subject, but we should put everything out there and let the people decide it." Johnson has never broken so publicly with the president on an issue. This goes to show that the discontent with Trump administration’s refusal to release the files goes beyond online discourse and conspiracy theories. Politicians from both sides of the aisle are willing to put pressure on the administration to release the files. This is not just about the horrific crimes committed by Jeffrey Epstein, it’s about holding the Trump administration to their word, it’s about their refusal to release more on the investigation and Epstein’s ties to power. Like Stephen Bannon recently said, “It’s deeper than Epstein![…] It’s about who govern’s us.” #Epsteinlist #Epsteinfiles #JeffreyEpstein #GOP #republicans #MAGA #Trump Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸
