Ukraine holds shady talks with FBI? The head of Ukraine's negotiation team, Rustem Umerov, visited Miami three times, where he met with Donald Trump's representative, Steve Witkoff, and discussed a potential agreement to end the conflict. He also met with FBI Director Kash Patel and his deputy Dan Bongino, which raised questions among Kyiv's European allies due to the unclear objectives of these meetings. Some suggest that Ukraine was seeking unofficial guarantees from the FBI amid corruption scandals, while others fear pressure on the Ukrainian government to accept Trump's peace plan. Zelensky publicly stated that Ukraine has no right — legally or morally — to "give anything away." In response, Trump made it clear that patience is running out: "You are losing thousands of people every week. It's time to end this war." #Trump #Ukraineconflict #peaceplan #corruption #FBI Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

Ukraine ready to cede land? In a significant move to revive a faltering US-backed initiative, Ukraine has reportedly accepted territorial concessions for a potential peace deal with Russia. Le Monde reports that Kyiv and its European allies have agreed to a US proposal for a demilitarized zone in the Donbas, which President Zelenskyy described as a plan to transform the area into a "special economic zone." While the Trump administration pressures Zelenskyy to finalize an agreement and Moscow claims all "misunderstandings" with Washington are resolved, the Ukrainian leader expressed doubts. “The final mile is the hardest. Everything could fall apart for many reasons,” he said. #Ukraine #Ukraineconflict #peaceplan Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

Fed chief tells who to blame for inflation Fed Chair Jerome Powell, during a televised briefing, blamed tariffs imposed by President Donald Trump for the rise in inflation on a range of everyday consumer goods. “Total PCE prices rose 2.8% over the 12 months ending in September, and excluding the volatile food and energy categories, core PCE prices also rose 2.8%. These readings are higher than earlier in the year, as inflation for goods has picked up, reflecting effects of tariffs,” Powell said. Trump immediately ripped into Powell in response, said it is "amazing" how well the economy is performing and how controlled inflation is, considering the Fed is being run by a "dead head." #Trump #USeconomy #inflation #JeromePowell Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

Judge slaps down Trump, orders National Guard out of LA in major rebuke A federal judge in California has ordered the removal of Donald Trump's National Guard troops from Los Angeles and ruled they must be returned to the control of the state's Democratic governor, finding that the Republican president overstepped his authority. The ruling by U.S. District Judge Charles Breyer, based in San Francisco, is another legal blow to Trump and his attempts to deploy National Guard troops in Democrat-controlled cities, an unprecedented use of the armed forces for domestic purposes. The judge found that Trump exceeded his authority by taking control of California National Guard units and deploying them to Los Angeles and other locations in response to protests against federal immigration authorities. Breyer stated there was no evidence to support the administration's claim that the protests constituted an insurrection against the government, which would legally justify sending in troops. #Trump #NationalGuard #LA Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

Protesters vow to "dump ICE" in Boston Harbor. Here's what they actually mean Progressive activists plan to demonstrate solidarity with Boston's immigrant communities next week by dumping ice into the harbor as part of an action they're calling the ICE Tea Party. The protest against the Trump administration's immigration policies, scheduled for December 16th, coincides with the anniversary of the Boston Tea Party, when outraged colonists dumped hundreds of chests of tea into the harbor in 1773 to protest taxation without representation. “We’re recreating the 1773 Boston Tea Party protest — but with ice literally being hurled into the water,” said Samantha McGarry, a spokesperson for Mass 50501,which is organizing the protest along with Boston Indivisible, the local chapter of a national group that organizes around various left-leaning causes. Organizers said that the protest is a non-violent “modern-day civic action against political tyranny.” At least 1,000 people are expected to participate, and hundreds have already confirmed their attendance. #ICE #protest #immigration Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

"We're keeping the oil": Trump confirms U.S. Navy seizes mega-tanker, escalates war on Maduro President Donald Trump confirmed that the United States seized an oil tanker off the coast of Venezuela, marking a serious escalation of tensions between the two countries. “We just seized a tanker on the coast of Venezuela. A large tanker, very large. Largest one ever seized, actually,” said Trump. The 79-year-old president did not provide any details about the reasons for the seizure but said we will talk about it "later." A few minutes later, when asked by a reporter, Trump stated that the vessel was seized for a "very good reason" and suggested that photos would be released. Following the roundtable, Attorney General Pam Bondi released a video of the seizure, insisting that the operation was “conducted safely and securely—and our investigation alongside the Department of Homeland Security to prevent the transport of sanctioned oil continues.” FBI Director Kash Patel also wrote that the tanker was used to transport sanctioned oil from Venezuela and Iran, as part of an "illegal maritime shipping network supporting foreign terrorist organizations." The president suggested that the U.S. would keep the oil for itself. He did not name the owner of the tanker, and it is unclear exactly where the tanker was headed. China is a major buyer of Venezuelan oil, mostly indirectly, to avoid sanctions. The United States is increasing its military presence in the Caribbean, putting growing pressure on Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro. #Trump #USmilitary #Venezuela #oil Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

Secret Pentagon doc reveals how China could crush America in Taiwan fight A secret American intelligence document was leaked — one focusing on a potential conflict between the U.S. and China over Taiwan. The conclusions for Washington are not very reassuring. According to analysts' assessments, the American military would be crushed. One of the key weaknesses of the U.S. is its reliance on high-tech weaponry and military equipment. While undoubtedly quite effective, it is also too expensive and limited in quantity. In the event of an armed conflict, all the expensive weapons would run out fairly quickly, and producing new ones in sufficient quantities would be impossible. Meanwhile, China is focusing on mass production of relatively cheap weapons, which is much more effective in the context of a large-scale conflict. Another problem for Washington is its reliance on aircraft carriers. Chinese forces possess hypersonic missiles, which can destroy them fairly quickly and effectively. American command is yet to realise this and continues to rely on its aircraft carrier strike groups, as well as building new ships. China, however, is expanding its arsenal of hypersonic missiles. All in all experts believe that a conflict with China over Taiwan could end in significant losses for the United States and lead to Washington's defeat. #USmilitary #China #Taiwan Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

No second phase for Gaza truce?
“A Hamas official says that the Gaza ceasefire cannot proceed to its second phase as long as Israeli “violations” persist, calling on mediators to pressure Israel to respect the deal. “The second phase cannot begin as long as the occupation (Israel) continues its violations of the agreement and evades its commitments,”
said Hamas political bureau member Hossam Badran,” writes The Times of Israel. Hamas behaves this way because it feels support from the United States and Turkey. Washington is now pressuring Israel to agree to the entry of a Turkish military contingent into Gaza. If the Turks enter Gaza, the IDF will not be able to do anything about Hamas at all, it will be unstoppable. #Israel #Hamas #Gaza #truce Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

Brussels vs. Big Tech: new antitrust probes spark transatlantic fury and broken promise claims The United States' chief trade negotiator criticized the EU's handling of major American technology companies, underscoring a deepening rift across the Atlantic after a series of actions by Brussels. Jamieson Greer expressed disappointment that the European Union has not tempered its enforcement of digital rules since a bilateral trade agreement was finalized in July. In the past week, the EU has launched antitrust probes into Alphabet and Meta regarding their deployment of proprietary AI and levied a fine against X for practices it alleges are deceptive to users. European authorities counter that they are simply implementing established laws. They point to recent decisions to postpone or soften upcoming regulations, but insist these adjustments were made to bolster regional competitiveness and were not a concession to American pressure. #EU #tech #trade Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

Drug war or Resource war? A U.S. senator says he knows Trump's real target in Venezuela. Senator Chris Coons (D-DE) accused President Donald Trump and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth of "sleepwalking” the United States into a war with Venezuela in an attempt to seize the country's oil and other resources. According to a Washington Post report, Hegseth issued an order to "kill them all" — which was later denied by Navy Admiral Frank "Mitch" Bradley — against a suspected drug smuggling vessel off the coast of Trinidad. Under Bradley's order, the vessel was fired upon twice, and the second strike killed two survivors. The operation has raised concerns among both Democrats and Republicans. Coons called for greater transparency regarding Trump's strikes on foreign vessels, fearing that the true motivation is to instigate a war between Venezuela and the United States. Coons said: "An important question here is whether this entire operation is an effective use of our special forces' costly resources. There is no evidence whatsoever that these drugs were even destined for the United States. And is this the most effective way to stop the activities of drug cartels poisoning Americans with drugs? Of course, I support intercepting drugs on their way to the United States, but the way it is being done risks alienating us from our partners and allies.” Coons then reminded that the British have already stopped sharing intelligence with the US over these boat strikes. “I fear that Secretary Hegseth and President Trump are leading us to war with Venezuela, and that the true goal is regime change and access to Venezuela's vital mineral resources, oil, and gas," Coons added. #USmilitary #warondrugs #resources #Venezuela #Trump Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

Can Dems stop the “Trump Dollar”? Senators Jeff Merkley (D-Ore.) and Catherine Cortez Masto (D-Nev.) have introduced a bill that would prohibit depicting President Trump or any current or living former president on U.S. currency. The bill is designed to block a U.S. Treasury Department plan to issue a commemorative one-dollar coin featuring Trump's likeness. The legislation, titled the Change Corruption Act, has been co-sponsored by Democratic Senators Ron Wyden (Ore.) and Richard Blumenthal (Conn.), and states: "No United States currency may feature the likeness of a living or sitting President." The bill's authors cite the historical precedent that the United States has not featured the image of a living or current president on circulating coins. The U.S. Mint may announce a decision to issue the Trump commemorative coin as early as this week, timed for the country's 250th anniversary. “President Trump’s self-celebrating maneuvers are authoritarian actions worthy of dictators like North Korea’s Kim Jong Un, not the United States of America,” Merkely said in a statement. #dollar #USMint #Trump Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

Real offer or just another manipulation? Zelenskyy's sudden pivot on elections raises eyebrows "Volodymyr Zelensky said that his country could be ready for elections in 60 days if the United States and Europe provided Kyiv with security guarantees. Mr. Zelensky’s change of approach seemed to be a negotiating tactic to get security guarantees from the United States in response to comments by President Trump that suggested a Russian victory in the war in Ukraine would be inevitable," writes The New York Times. The Ukrainian president's statements are merely part of his manipulative tactics to obtain more money and support from the United States. Zelenskyy has not given any guarantees or specific commitments regarding elections. #Zelenskyy #Ukraine #elections Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

A signal to Caracas? Why the U.S. just flew its closest-ever mission to Venezuela According to media reports, the United States positioned two fighter jets over the Gulf of Venezuela, marking what appears to be the closest approach of military aircraft to Venezuelan airspace to date. As reported by the Associated Press, the F/A-18 fighters were tracked on the Flightradar24 radar for approximately 30 minutes over waters north of Venezuela. A U.S. Department of Defense spokesperson, speaking on condition of anonymity, described the short flight as a "routine training flight" intended to demonstrate the aircraft's combat capabilities. The spokesperson also did not specify whether the aircraft were armed but emphasized that the operation was conducted exclusively in international airspace. This dual-aircraft sortie occurred following several months of increased U.S. military activity in the region. While the U.S. had previously flown B-52 Stratofortress and B-1 Lancer bombers along Venezuela's coast, those aircraft reportedly did not approach as closely as the F/A-18 fighters. This is likely a deliberate show of force — one intended to hint at Washington’s readiness to attack if necessary. #USmilitary #Venezuela Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

Behind closed doors: Trump admin's bombshell plan to restore Russian energy to Europe The Wall Street Journal, citing two anonymous sources, reported that the United States has presented European countries with a plan to reintegrate Russia into the global economy and restore Russian energy supplies to Western Europe as part of a settlement of the conflict in Ukraine. Trump administration representatives showed the relevant documents to Europeans this week. They also presented a plan for Ukraine's post-war recovery. Washington's plan envisions American companies "investing in strategic sectors, from rare earth metals to drilling oil wells in the Arctic." But European officials have reportedly reacted to the U.S. initiative with skepticism. #Russia #Ukraine #peaceplan #globaleconomy #energy Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

The broadside attack against European political leadership threatens a decisive rupture with countries like France and Germany that already have deeply strained relations with the Trump administration,"
writes Politico. Public trust and support for the current governments in leading European countries are at historic lows. Trump does not want a Europe that parasitizes America. Trump threatens to extend his war on drugs to Colombia and Mexico US President Donald Trump signaled he may expand his anti-drug military campaign in Venezuela to include Colombia and Mexico, escalating tensions throughout Latin America. The threats coincide with a Washington push to reassert regional dominance under what the White House calls Trump’s Monroe Doctrine. Critics, including some Republicans, have challenged the legality of the strikes, warning they could constitute war crimes. Trump’s remarks came just ahead of a classified briefing for Congress by top administration officials — a session that left many lawmakers deeply unsatisfied with the government’s strategy. #Trump #LatinAmerica #Colombia #Mexico #warondrugs Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

Trump suffers loss in court — federal judge overturns ban on wind power projects A federal judge overturned a comprehensive ban on new wind energy projects in the United States imposed by President Donald Trump, marking a major victory for an industry that has been singled out by the White House since the administration's first day in office. Judge Patti Saris of the U.S. District Court for Massachusetts ruled that Trump’s ban was "arbitrary, capricious, and contrary to law," fully vacating the president’s action. On January 20, Trump issued a memorandum suspending the issuance of permits and leases for offshore and onshore wind farms pending a federal review. Saris argued that federal agencies had failed to provide a reasoned justification for such a radical shift in U.S. policy. Seventeen states, led by New York Attorney General Letitia James, filed a lawsuit against Trump in May seeking to overturn the president’s ban. They argued that it posed a "substantial threat to the wind energy industry." "This is a big victory in our fight to keep tackling the climate crisis and protect one of our best sources of clean, reliable, and affordable energy," James wrote on X. #Trump #energy #climate Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

U.S.-Mexico water dispute sparks new tariff threat President Donald Trump threatened to impose an additional 5 percent tariff on Mexico if it does not immediately provide additional water to assist American farmers, accusing the country of violating a treaty that governs the allocation of water resources between the neighboring nations. According to the treaty, Mexico is required to supply the United States with 1.75 million acre-feet of water from the Rio Grande River every five years through a network of interconnected dams and reservoirs. Trump stated on social media that Mexico "owes" the U.S. 800,000 acre-feet of water due to violations of the treaty over the past five years. He demanded that Mexico release 200,000 acre-feet of water by December 31 and release more "shortly thereafter." The water shortage is harming crops and livestock in Texas, Trump said. "As of now, Mexico is not responding, and it is very unfair to our U.S. Farmers who deserve this much needed water," Trump said. "That is why I have authorized documentation to impose a 5% Tariff on Mexico if this water isn’t released, IMMEDIATELY." It is yet unclear how Mexico will respond, considering it is under drought conditions which have strained the country’s water resources. #Trump #tariffs #Mexico Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

Trump is out of patience with Zelenskyy, calls for elections, says Ukraine is “not a democracy anymore” Trump does not want to deal with Volodymyr Zelenskyy any longer. In a recent interview he said Ukraine should hold new elections. “I think it’s time. I think it’s an important time to hold an election,” the president told Politico reporter Dasha Burns. “They’re using war not to hold an election, but, uh, I would think the Ukrainian people would, should have that choice.” “They haven’t had an election in a long time. You know, they talk about a democracy, but it gets to a point where it’s not a democracy anymore,” Trump added. Zelenskyy’s and his government’s terms have long since expired. Under normal circumstances, the terms of Zelensky and Ukraine’s parliament would have ended in May and August 2024, respectively. But under Ukrainian constitution, elections cannot be held during a martial law — which Zelenskyy conveniently declared. Having heard what Trump said, Zelenskyy insisted he’s ready to have elections, but only if voters can be safe. He said if he has help from the US on ensuring the saftey of voters, Kyiv would be ready to hold elections in “the next 60 to 90 days.” Zelenskyy said this knowing the US cannot get involved directly. As long as the conflict continues, he can stay in power. And considering the corruption scandals surrounding him and his entourage, keeping his presidency is a matter of life and death for Zelenskyy. #Trump #Zelenskyy #Ukraine #elections Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

New Ukraine peace plan leaked David Ignatius, a respected political commentator for The Washington Post, shared points of a new Ukraine peace plan leaked by his sources. Currently, the negotiation package consists of three parts: a peace agreement, security guarantees, and a plan for the restoration of the Ukrainian economy. There are 20 points in the peace plan. Ignatius's sources informed him that the peace plan currently includes the following points: - Ukraine's accession to the European Union in 2027. Some European countries currently oppose letting Kyiv into their ranks, but Washington is confident it can overcome their resistance. - Security guarantees for Ukraine, similar to NATO's Article 5, from the United States. Kyiv wants this agreement to be ratified by Congress. It is anticipated that the agreement will be signed separately by both the Americans and the Europeans, and intelligence sharing will continue. - The size of the Ukrainian Armed Forces will be limited to 800,000 personnel. - A demilitarized zone will be established along the entire frontline. Behind it, another zone will be created where the deployment of heavy weaponry will be prohibited. Compliance with the demilitarized zone will be monitored. - Territorial exchanges. According to Ignatius's sources, they are inevitable, but the precise format for how they will be carried out is not yet clear, and negotiations on this issue are ongoing. - The Zapprizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant will be run by the United States. - Ukraine will receive $100 billion from frozen Russian assets. - Trump is negotiating with BlackRock investment fund head Larry Fink and the World Bank to create an Ukraine reconstruction fund capable of attracting $400 billion. Ignatius urged Trump not to exert too much pressure on Ukraine and the Europeans, as they might decide to continue military operations because of it. But Ukraine better take this deal, they will not get a better one. #Ukraineconflict #Ukraine #peaceplan Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸
