| 15 | +2 📗 What is Concentrated Liquidity? (P1)
Concentrated Liquidity is one of the biggest improvements in the MiaSwap V3, which could open many new opportunities for liquidity providers (LP).
Difference in liquidity model between V2 and V3👇
💻 At V2, the AMM model x*y=k shows some limitations, especially the capital efficiency of LPs.
The feature of the x*y=k curve is that liquidity is created from 0 to infinity, users can swap tokens with any price and volume. However, in reality, the price does not run from 0 - infinity but often fluctuates in a range. So for most pools, a majority of this liquidity is never put to use
E.g: The USDT/VNDC pair usually runs between 23,000 - 24,000. So liquidity is outside of that range: lower than 23,000 and higher than 24,000 are not used.
💻 At V3, instead of providing liquidity from 0 - infinity, now LPs will provide 1 or more desired price ranges, for example 23,000 - 24,000 for USDT/VNDC pair. Thus, with the same amount of capital, LPs can provide liquidity with a much larger volume within custom price ranges.
💎 With this feature, LPs can provide liquidity with up to 4000x capital efficiency relative to V2, earning higher returns on their capital.

Specifically, the July plan has 3 main highlights:

It is expected that at the end of July 2023, ONUS Bridge will officially launch and allow users to transfer tokens between ONUS Chain and other networks easily. The first network to be deployed cross-chain is BNB Chain.
2️⃣ Upgrade MiaSwap V3
In this July, the first decentralized exchange on ONUS Chain - MiaSwap will upgrade to V3 with many outstanding improvements:
- Concentrated Liquidity: Helping liquidity providers use capital more efficiently, maximize profits, while minimizing risks and diversifying liquidity supply strategies.
- Apply multi-tier fees: Instead of paying 0.25% fee per transaction as before, the conversion fee at MiaSwap V3 will be applied flexibly depending on the liquidity, the stability of assets, total supply...
- Smart Router: When users swap tokens, the system will automatically select the liquidity pool to provide the best exchange rate, minimize risk of price impact, especially improve price with stablecoins.
3️⃣New project: ONUS Name Service (ONS)
ONS is one of the next projects that will be built on ONUS Chain, providing a personalized domain-based web3 identity service, making it more convenient for users to manage assets and transact on ONUS chain.
