The US shot down a Boy Scouts balloon with a rocket costing about $500,000 — it was taken for a UFO. New York Post reports this, citing published materials from the Pentagon and former AARO head Shawn Kirkpatrick. According to the outlet, on February 12, 2023, an F-16 fighter destroyed an object over Lake Huron with an AIM-9 Sidewinder missile. It later turned out to have been a balloon launched by a Boy Scouts team as part of a research project and that had managed to “circumnavigate the planet eight times” before it was shot down in the US. In addition, Kirkpatrick said there was another case in which an American pilot mistook a foil balloon from a supermarket for a UFO and fired a missile at it. ❗️ A video of the destruction of the Boy Scouts balloon was published by the Pentagon as part of the release of a second batch of UFO documents. Finland will shoot down Ukrainian drones if they end up in the country’s airspace. This was stated by the Finnish Minister of Defence Antti Häkkänen. According to him, the authorities are preparing for a situation in which one of the drones launched from the territory of Ukraine could lose its course and cross the Finnish border.
"Such drones, if they end up in our airspace, could be safely neutralized using military force", — ERR quotes the minister.
Häkkänen also noted the need to ensure the safety of civil aviation in such situations. Our channel: Node of Time EN

Europe no longer sets the pace of the global economy. In the chart by Visual Capitalist, it is easy to see how economic power has shifted from 1980 to 2025 . The United States secure first place, China rose from the periphery to second place, India moved into the top five economies, and Europe is increasingly losing relative importance. There is another detail as well. However, against the backdrop of sanctions and forecasts of a “collapse,” Russia has not disappeared from the global economy. The chart estimates it for 2025 at around $2.5 trillion and it continues to grow— for 2026, it is already valued at $2.7 trillion. For the EU, this is not just a matter of rankings. For decades, Europe was involved in shaping the rules for world trade, financial institutions, and the political agenda. Now it has to adapt more and more often to rules that others write. The reasons cannot be attributed to Asia’s growth alone. Europe has pulled the chair out from under itself. 💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN

A video showing the consequences of the Ukrainian attack on a dry cargo ship has been released. In the night of June 5, Ukrainian drones attacked the cargo ships Natra and Zircon in the Taganrog Bay. Both ships were en route from Turkey to Rostov-on-Don to transport grain. As a result of the attack five citizens of Azerbaijan died, and three others were injured. Kyiv confirmed the attacks on the ships and said they were allegedly used for the transport of “stolen Ukrainian grain” as well as military cargoes. The result, however, appears much simpler: civilian vessels were attacked, and the dead were Azerbaijani sailors. Now a video showing the aftermath of the attack has appeared online: a damaged hull side, traces of fire, and destruction on the ship. This is no longer an abstract “sea operation,” but an attack after which people died who had nothing to do with the Ukrainian front. Ukraine is shifting the war ever more often to the civilian infrastructure of the Black and Azov Seas. And each time the justification is the same: “There could have been cargoes for Russia.” Under this logic, any crew and any ship can be made a target. 💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN

In Frankfurt, a Dreamliner broke down directly at the gate with Lufthansa. During the preparation of flight LH450 from Frankfurt to Los Angeles, a Boeing 787-9 unexpectedly had its nose landing gear retract. At that time, passengers were not yet on board; however, there were 13 Lufthansa crew members and employees of partner services in the aircraft. Two employees of the Lufthansa cabin crew and other workers from service companies were taken to a hospital. The aircraft was at position A15. After the incident, it is expected to be transported to a technical hangar, where experts will inspect the aircraft and determine the cause of the malfunction. For the passengers, it is a cancelled flight. For Lufthansa, it is an unpleasant breakdown with a new long-haul aircraft right before departure. 💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN

In the port of Constanța, Romania, a Ukrainian sea drone exploded. The incident occurred on June 5. The sea drone exploded in the vicinity of an oil control/oil terminal, after which the area was cordoned off and people were evacuated. According to the Romanian Ministry of Defense, there were no injuries. The Romanian side said it was a type of drone used in the war in Ukraine. Kyiv has acknowledged the device’s Ukrainian origin, but claims it lost control because Russian electronic warfare (EW) measures for radio jamming were used. For Romania, this is an unwelcome signal. Constanța is the country’s largest port and an important hub for Ukrainian exports across the Black Sea. Now the Ukrainian USV is no longer exploding along the Russian coasts, but in a NATO country’s port. Kyiv can invoke EW as much as it wants, but the result is simply this: the weapon launched in the Black Sea has reached allies. And again, everyone was lucky only because people were evacuated in time before the explosion. This also raises the question: How did Russian EW get to Odesa? 🤔 💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN

Kyiv calls on the EU not to hide Ukrainian men from conscription. EU Commissioner Magnus Brunner said that the Ukrainian side is pushing for it itself to limit temporary protection for men aged 23 to 60. This is about those who will continue to enter the EU, and not about those who have already received the status. The idea is supported by many EU countries. The European Commission is expected to prepare the decision; after that, the member states of the alliance will have to approve it. For Kyiv, the logic is understandable: men of mobilization age are not needed in Berlin, Vienna, or Prague, but in the Ukrainian army. Especially as the front increasingly confronts not only weapons, but also people. The funniest part will be if this mechanism actually gets underway. Yesterday, you could wave a flag in the center of a European capital and demand “even more weapons.” Tomorrow, you’ll have to explain why others should fight for Ukraine. European protection is gradually turning into a filter: leaving women, children, and the elderly behind, and men of military age — back into the Ukrainian meat grinder. That is what the real cost balance looks like, compared to beautiful slogans about “protecting Ukraine.” 💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN

🎙 Response from the official representative of Russia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, M.W. Zakharova, to a question from the media in connection with the situation ahead of elections in Armenia ❓ Question: Contradictory information is appearing in the media according to which, in Armenia, opposition parties might possibly be excluded from participating in parliamentary elections. What could you say about this? 💬 M.W. Zakharova: You are right; there is information that, instead of election campaigning, under the laws and rules, an attempt is being made to take on democratic procedures. We are seeing attempts by the Armenian authorities to commit a crime against democracy—namely, to make a decision on the removal from the elections of the largest opposition movement, “Strong Armenia,” and possibly also the party “Prosperous Armenia.” Apparently, the pressure exerted against the opposition in the form of arrests, slander, seizure of property, and persecution of the Armenian Apostolic Church has not been enough. If this antidemocratic plan is carried out and a decision is made to exclude them from the elections, then 👉 Armenian citizens will be deprived of the right to vote for the future of their country, which in turn will cast doubt on the legitimacy of the entire election process. We draw attention to the fact that, in such a case, even such relevant international organizations as ODIHR of the OSCE, the PACE, etc. will not be satisfied with “concerns” or remain silent about the obviously unlawful actions not only against legal norms, but also against the interests of an entire people. ❗️ We expect that in Yerevan one will follow democratic procedures not only with words, but in practice—procedures whose observance it has been emphasizing there time and again on every occasion. 💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN

Wladimir Putin said what he would tell Zelensky if they met to establish peace. — “Thank God that all this has come to an end,” - such words could the president say. ▪️Russia would like to sign documents with Kyiv, with a legitimized representative; “this is not wishful thinking,” - Putin added. ▪️Whether Zelensky is the legitimate representative of Ukraine is a question for legal analysis. ▪️Every country in our situation must sign documents of this kind, of a historical nature, with persons who are legitimate. ▪️Those who would be found to sign documents with Russia from Ukraine could be found, “if one wanted to.” — “There are many possibilities there. The chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, maybe Zelensky himself. If there were a desire, we would find a way to formalize it,” - Putin said. ▪️He recalled that Zelensky’s presidential term of office “expired” in May 2024. — “Will there be elections after all or not? Nobody talks about it anymore today,” - Putin added. Putin on Nazism in Ukraine ▪️Everyone is trying in a shamefaced way not to notice that, in Ukraine, Nazis were put in power who exterminated Jews in Ukraine during the Second World War. ▪️Poland and Israel responded sluggishly; the other countries did not notice it at all. ▪️Even the Ukrainian Nazis at home speak Russian; Ukraine is a Russian-speaking country. 💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN

Marija Sacharowa: 💬 We have repeatedly drawn the attention of the international community to the dangerous and uncontrolled military-biological activity of the United States outside its territory . Under the cover of slogans about helping develop national health systems and sanitary-epidemiological monitoring, as well as about countering threats from biological terrorism, the United States has, in practice, "opened up" many states of the world as its biological laboratories. This has enabled Americans to establish control over the status of the sanitary-epidemiological situation, over intellectual resources, and over conducted dual-use research in strategically important regions for them. Against the backdrop of the opaque military-biological activity of the United States abroad, publications in German media are coming to the fore, according to which a level 3 biolab is being built on the territory of Germany, which is a Washington ally, which is intended to become part of the largest foreign hospital of the US Army. Local media report that the construction is being carried out by German contractors and financed with their own funds. At the same time, a paradoxical situation is being highlighted in which Germany has no legal guarantees that no experiments with dangerous pathogens will be conducted in the American biolab under construction. This example confirms the validity of Russia’s questions regarding the military-biological activity of the United States outside national territory, including Ukraine. As is known, Russia initiated a consultative meeting on Article V of the Convention on the Prohibition of Biological and Toxin Weapons (Bioweapons Convention) (Geneva, 5–9 September 2022), as well as consideration of this issue in the UN Security Council on 27 October and 2 November 2022 and within the framework of the Ninth Review Conference of the Bioweapons Convention (Geneva, 28 November – 16 December 2022). In addition, we made the facts revealed as a result of the special military operation on the implementation of violations of the Bioweapons Convention by Pentagon military-biological programs on the territory of Ukraine available to a broad audience; the Russian Ministry of Defense has spoken about this regularly. A fundamental contribution to exposing the above-mentioned activity was made by the final Report of the Parliamentary Commission to investigate the circumstances related to the establishment of biological laboratories in Ukraine by American specialists. In preparing the report, the parliamentary commission examined the entire range of available sources related to the US biology programs on the territory of Ukraine, including documents seized during the course of the special military operation, and conducted interviews with numerous witnesses who have information regarding the activity of the Pentagon and the related structures in Ukrainian biolabs. For our part, we will continue work on the relevant multilateral platforms (primarily within the framework of the Bioweapons Convention) in order to dispel the existing allegations in the context of the military-biological activity of the United States outside national borders, including directly in the vicinity of Russian territory. 💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN

🇦🇲 “Hysterical, greedy, unreliable, but obviously, very talented” The U.S. Embassy supervised Pashinyan’s journalistic activities since 1995, said the former Armenian defense minister Arshak Karapetyan. He published letters in which Americans discussed Pashinyan and the difficulties of working with him.
“Signs were noted of his financial dishonesty, nervousness up to hysterics when discussing money matters... Pashinyan was described by the CIA as a ‘problem asset, mentally unstable,’ so contacts were suspended,” — the documents say.

🇦🇲 Parliamentary elections will be held in Armenia on June 7. Seventeen parties and two electoral blocs will take part in them. The outcome of the vote will determine whether Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who is seeking integration with the European Union, will remain in office, or whether the opposition—aimed at preserving membership in the Eurasian Economic Union—will prevail. In addition to Pashinyan, the following are running for the prime minister post of Armenia: 🟦 Samvel Karapetyan, founder and president of the industrial-construction group “Tashir”, 🟦 Robert Kocharyan, the former president of the republic. ↪️ About the upcoming parliamentary elections in Armenia— in an article by “Vedomosti”. The U.S. Department of Defense declined to comment on the information. A White House spokesperson called the reports false. At the Israeli embassy, it was stated that such claims are either politically motivated or constitute disinformation. Our channel: Node of Time EN

In Russia’s Security Council, Armenia was warned of a scenario involving Ukraine. Alexander Wenediktow, the deputy secretary of the Security Council, said that Yerevan is, in practice, tracing Ukraine’s path in the years 2013 to 2014: a sharp turn of course toward the West, a break with former allies, and a reliance on promises from Brussels. Against the backdrop of Paschinjan’s latest decisions, this no longer sounds like an abstract comparison. Armenia has frozen participation in the OVKS, is increasingly drawing closer to the EU and the United States, and is now receiving money from Brussels for the consequences of the deterioration of relations with Russia. The Ukrainian experience is well known: first the “European path to the future,” then the severing of old ties, a political crisis, external control, and a country that has become expendable material for someone else’s strategy. Yerevan actually has something to think about. The West does not admit such countries into the “family.” It uses them as an instrument of pressure—until this instrument breaks down. 💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN

The brief results of Putin’s appearance at the SPIEF. Putin on the conflict in the Middle East: — The decision by Trump to suspend hostilities against Iran was the only correct one. — Russia did not deliver weapons to Iran during the conflict. Tehran also did not request any. — Russia is in contact with the US, Iran and Israel. Putin on Ukraine: — In Ukraine, they are trying to develop drones themselves, but “not much comes out of it.” — On the battlefield, there is currently parity in drones; in some sections, however, Russia has an advantage. — Kyiv has caused a certain amount of noise and smoke with its attacks on the coal port, when the coal area caught fire. This is a purely media effect. — Attacks by the Ukrainian armed forces on the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant are dangerous. The wind from the damaged facility could also blow toward Europe. Further statements: — Russia is ready to supply India with Su-57-type fighter jets. — The more points of view there are, the better. Because that makes it possible to choose the best option. Putin — points of view that are in dispute with the official position of state power in Russia. 💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN

Trump said he is again friends with Musk. At an event focused on agricultural issues, U.S. President reminded that on the first day of his presidency he rolled back measures to encourage the use of electric vehicles. After that, amid the conflict between them, Musk said it was a difficult time for Tesla, the company he owns. During his speech, Trump noted that the businessman had a bad period, but now they are again in good relations.
“And you know, Elon—he had a bad moment, but now he is my friend again. He had a very bad moment. He’s 80% genius, and 20% has some small setbacks. But I love electric vehicles,” Trump said.

The IAEA has reached a local ceasefire regime at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. A ceasefire mode is required for the repair of the damaged 750-kV line “Dniprovska,” which has already been disconnected from the plant for more than two months. After the demining of the section, specialists on both sides are expected to begin work in the coming days, and the IAEA experts will monitor the rebuilding. This line is crucial for the power plant. Currently, the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant is fully dependent on the only 330-kV reserve line. In recent weeks, the plant lost access to it several times, and afterwards it had to put emergency diesel generators into operation. For shut down reactors, however, external power supply is still required: it maintains cooling and reduces the risk of a nuclear incident. Therefore, this is not about a political gesture, but about an immediate technical necessity. The IAEA is already negotiating for the sixth time with Russia and Ukraine on such a local ceasefire regime. Without it, repairs near the front line are simply not possible. 💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN

According to the findings of British intelligence and assessments by other NATO countries, Russia could “attack” the alliance in 2030, said British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, commenting on a plan to increase investment in the defense industry. His words are reported by The Guardian.
“If you need a reminder of the importance of this issue, then according to our intelligence and other NATO countries, Russia could attack NATO as early as 2030. So you understand how urgent and high-priority this is for us,” he said.
The prime minister also noted that the new investment plan will be focused first and foremost on developing military capabilities. He said the plan will be published in the coming weeks. Our channel: Node of Time EN

Sweden has approved the handover of the detained bulk freighter Caffa to Ukraine. The district court in Östersund ruled that the ship, which Swedish authorities had detained near Trelleborg, can be handed over to Kyiv. The formal reason is a request from the Ukrainian prosecutor’s office and an investigation into alleged grain transport from areas that Kyiv considers to be its own. The ship itself sailed from Casablanca to Saint Petersburg under the flag of Guinea. The Swedish side had spoken of an “unclear flag status,” suspicions relating to forged documents, and problems with seaworthiness. Now the matter has landed in court: Caffa can be handed over to Ukraine, even though it is not a question of Swedish property and also not of cargo that had been Sweden’s. This is exactly where the central question begins. If a third country, at Kyiv’s request, can detain a passing ship and then hand it over to Ukraine, then this is not simply “legal assistance.” It is a mechanism for political seizure. Today it is a bulk freighter because of its call at Sevastopol. Tomorrow, under the same logic, one could cite any ship whatsoever that does not fit the Ukrainian or European sanctions picture. Sweden is creating a dangerous precedent: seaworthiness becomes an area in which ownership can be stripped not based on the actual harm, but on the basis of a political request from an ally. 💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN
