Meloni Advocates for “Identity Change” in Europe
Italy begins EU Parliament elections: Over 17 million Italians will vote on June 8-9.
Meloni's Fratelli d’Italia leads the polls, while Schlein's Democratic Party aims to close the gap. Conte’s Five Star Movement focuses on the south, and Salvini’s Lega and Tajani’s Forza Italia also campaign actively.
Meloni's strategy is to personalize the campaign, asking voters to write her name on the ballots to strengthen her leadership. She aims to secure Italy's influence in the EU and ensure a central position in Strasbourg to shape the majority in the European Parliament.
