Following the attacks on Northeast Syria, Ebid El Rehman joined HTS’s General Security unit in Til Berak (Tel Barak) and is positioned there.

Kobani The General Security forces affiliated with the Al-Qaeda government (Damascus) carried out a raid campaign in the village of Mazghana, which belongs to the Jalabiya subdistrict in the countryside of Kobani. He is a native of this governorate and was previously a member of the extremist ISIS group. He was later sent to northern Syria by Turkish intelligence to implement Turkish directives in the region. Subsequently, as part of Turkish arrangements aimed at re-establishing ISIS influence centers under the guise of legitimacy, he was officially appointed to this position within the new Syrian government.
