🇺🇸🍾Trump lost the US Congressional elections. Last night, during the vote count, Bitcoin reached $76,000 and was then bought up to $78,500. Meanwhile, WLFI hit a new all-time low, and TRUMP is down 11% in the last 24 hours. The Democrats have taken both houses of Congress, and from January, they will have the power to subpoena and demand documents. One of their first targets, they themselves say, is the Trump family’s crypto business, which brought him over $1.4 billion in 2025. This includes World Liberty with the WLFI token and the USD1 stablecoin, worth $3.7 billion, where the family owns 38% of the company and 75% of the revenue from token sales, plus the meme coins TRUMP and MELANIA. 635 million$ was earned in a year from royalties on TRUMP alone, and 80% of the coin’s supply is still held by its team and Trump’s company. They will also pressure the regulator, which preliminarily approved World Liberty’s banking license in August, and investigate a dinner for the largest holders of TRUMP on November 22nd. According to CBS, more than half of the candidates for positions funded their campaigns through exchanges that are closed to Americans, meaning they are likely foreign nationals. They cannot ban the tokens; Trump will veto it, and the prosecution and regulators will be under his control until 2029. So, they will attack through documents and news, and the coins associated with Trump will live and die based on the news. TRUMP is already down 98% from its high, and $MELANIA is down 99%. The main crypto law, CLARITY, is also unlikely to be passed, and it will likely be blocked unless it allows officials to profit from crypto. Regarding Iran, Trump will make the decision, and after the elections, when the war and gasoline prices were brought up, he has a reason to negotiate. However, it will likely be an interim deal: Iran opens the Strait of Hormuz, the US lifts the blockade on its ports and some sanctions, and the major issues of nuclear weapons and a full peace agreement will be left for later. Polymarket gives this a 36% chance of happening by the end of the year. A memorandum was signed regarding the Strait of Hormuz in June, but it fell apart less than a month later. And after the elections, Trump does not rule out further strikes. If they reach an agreement, oil, currently at $104, will fall, followed by inflation and interest rates. This is the best-case scenario for Bitcoin. If it fails, oil will rise again, and it will be difficult for crypto.
