Our client, a sports bar and restaurant is looking to hire a F&B Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurants services such as, working closely with the chef, managing waiters, ensuring great service. They must have experience in handling staff and planning menus and must be passionate in serving good food and ensuring that the standards of the Restaurant are met.
JOB PURPOSE & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee the kitchen’s operations. Which include, making sure that the day-to-day activities are met and that the food and beverage must be of high quality.
Develop and plan the menu and update it as the season changes to introduce new foods to the guests.
Supervise the staff and delegate tasks.
Maintain cleanliness in all the areas of the kitchen and dining places.
Conduct meetings regularly to be updated with the operations as well as disseminate major instructions.
Monitors and check supplies and coordinates with the food checker for any supplies needed to be purchased.
Handle customer complaints.
REQUIREMENTS
A degree in Business or Food and Beverage Management or related field.
5years of experience and a minimum of 3years as a Food and Beverage Manager.
Have the ability to forecast kitchen and dining needs
Excellent customer service skills
Exceptional organizational, leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
In-depth knowledge of the food industry.
Ability to adhere to budgets and meet financial targets.
Strong working knowledge of related computer software, including restaurant management software.
Must have attention to detail and can multitask.
Must have excellent social and interpersonal skills.

Our client based in Nairobi in the retail industry is looking forward to filling a Company Driver role. The ideal candidate will ensure the Secretariat work is sufficiently supported by performing the duties of a driver and offering general office Messenger services.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
. Drive staff to various destinations in the country as the work may dictate.
. Deliver and pick letters, parcels to / from various offices and run other errands as directed.
. Operate and maintain assigned motor vehicle (s) in a clean and well serviced status and relevant licences are renewed in time in line with approved policies and procedures.
. Perform vehicle safety inspections, diagnose and report any mechanical issues in advance.
. Perform preventive maintenance and follow up on vehicle repairs with proper records.
. Maintain passenger confidence by keeping information strictly confidential and complete tasks within timelines and without jeopardizing safety or integrity of work.
. Any other duties as assigned by the management from time to time.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
. Must be a KCSE qualifier, NYS trained is a PLUS.
. Should possess a clean driving license Class ABCE.
. Minimum 4 years satisfactory driving experience in the capacity of an Company/Executive driver.
. A thorough understanding of Nairobi and environs and good exposure on long distance travels.
. A background in executive driving and good skills in defensive driving is an ADDED ADVANTAGE.
. Able to work under minimum supervision and under pressure including outside normal work hours.
. Be a person of Impeccable Integrity, commitment to work and take initiative.
. Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills – good etiquette, attention to details, patient, flexible & time conscious.
. Must be able to operate both manual and automatic vehicles.
. Punctual and reliable.
