#paeds #EOP Approach in thrombocytopenia / petechiae 🔴 Fyi, before this I posted a video regarding my clinical exam question which I got during my End of Posting Paediatrics. I mean this video 👇🏼 https://vt.tiktok.com/ZSYV4TcHj/ And someone asked me regarding the approach of the long case. As the approach of the patient, it must be based on patient’s chief complaint. Is the patient come to you due to low platelet count? or does it come to you due to the presentation of petechiae or easy bruising itself ? So, do make the differentials based on the chief complaint, then correlate with the associated presentation. So, this notes actually I was referring to this one article, but not so sure regarding the accuracy of the information. If anything wrong or mistakes just let me know. Well still I’m a student & still learning ✌🏼 I hope this can assist those who inquire about this ok 😉

Here we go.. all the patient’s information has been censored & fake the name just to keep it confidential. For timeline for the history of presenting illness, my lecturer taught me to make it chronologically and try to draw ‘wave’ for psychosis symptom ‘U’ for depressive mood or add ‘hill’ for manic episode. This will help you in making the diagnosis for the patient. To make it clearer, you can see the example from the timeline I made above. Harap membantu 😇
