Here is something you should know about the Ethiopian south afar people ...they have cultural drink called "HASHARA"...
It's really famous drink specially in the. Southern part of Afar region( a place which is basically found in the north eastern part of Ethiopia). Hashara is made up of coffee peel.. once the peels are collected we take sometime till it turn it's color to yellowish then after we wash it to roast it.
Next we just mix the peels with plenty water, enough amount of salt as well just to add taste and let all together boil for almost 10-15 minutes on avarege. Finally we remove the the boiled peel from the fire and mix it with milk of (cow,camel or maybe goat). Their taste is actually different we just mix based on the preference of an individual. We mix the milk after we remove the pot from the fire because if we mix them while on fire the color of milk will be almost invisible and the drink will be extremely dark not to do so we add milk later on.
Finally we got our Hashara😘(traditional cappuccino♥️♥️) we can drink with traditional cup called "FYAN"

እውነተኛ እምባ ከቃል በላይ ነው እና ከልብ አነባሁ እምባ በቃላት ለመግለጽ ለሚያዳግቱ ስሜቶች ፍቱን ነው፤ እስኪ ይውጣልን።

| 12 | The ancient graphical representation of egypt called heiroglyphs shows that the ancient Egyptians had hair style that is almost similar to the current residents of the northeastern part of Ethiopia (Afar) and the southern most inhabitants of Ethiopia called (Hamar). more of their style was the as same the current hair style of Afar people.
"Dayta"
The curls shown on the image below are called "Dayta" in local language it is the orginal style of The current inhabitants of Afar region or basically known as "Qafars" they made such curls in simple and amazing traditional way.
They use suet of the (camel,cow or goat) it actually depends on the preference and availability. butter is required as well. Both altogether make those curls.
Although to get the curls the butter and suet aren't enough. thin stick is also needed. To divide the entire hair into relatively the same size and style.
To get the orginal curl like his we don't need to out jel or conditioner like the modern guy I posted together with the Afars we actually leave the materials unwashed for few days till our hair gets the curls finally we Rinse it off with water and get such hair style.
