From Ynet News Hundreds of fighters from pro-Iranian Iraqi militias are undergoing training at bases in Iraq and outside of it under Iranian supervision to prepare for a potential regional war, Hezbollah-affiliated Lebanese newspaper Al Akhbar reported, citing sources from the Islamic Resistance in Iraq, an umbrella organization for pro-Iranian militias. According to the report, while militia training is ongoing, there is now a heightened focus on wartime operations and instruction in new weapons systems requiring specialized training. The sources also noted that some groups are receiving training in Iran and are expected to return to Iraq.
