This morning Oleksandr Syrskyi delivered a long report. The Commander-in-Chief spoke particularly about our frontline positions, concrete actions of our units, and particular directions. I thank each of our warriors for their resilience! The Chief of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov also delivered a report today. We are aware of all the aspects of the current situation. All of us should remember that Russia can only be forced to leave Ukraine alone. And this will happen. Our strength will definitely make it happen. The strength of our people, our military strength, the strength of our unity with the world, the strength of our partners – the strength of our diplomacy. I thank everyone in the team of our country – in my team, and in the teams of our partner countries – who are already working these days to ensure that in June all of us – all the countries of the world that value life – achieve a truly significant political result. The Global Peace Summit will be held, and it has to be successful, no matter how hard they try to sabotage it. Putin does not want peace, he is insane, and every day his state does new things to prove it. And to overcome this evil, to overcome the war, we need the maximum unity of the world. We achieve the results together. I thank everyone who is fighting and working for the sake of our country and people! I thank everyone who stands with Ukraine! I thank everyone who really provides us with timely and strong support! Glory to Ukraine!

🇺🇦 The Secretariat of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine handed over Easter cakes for Ukrainian defenders to volunteers. The Secretariat continued its traditional support of Ukrainian defenders on the occasion of Easter. Together, the employees of the Secretariat of the Parliament of Ukraine collected more than 1,500 Easter cakes to support the invincible Ukrainian soldiers. The leadership of the Secretariat of the Parliament of Ukraine together with the colleagues delivered Easter cakes to the frontline through volunteers. "These are not only Easter cakes, the main thing is gratitude and appreciation to the guys and girls who are defending our country and giving our great Ukrainian people the opportunity to celebrate the bright holiday of Easter here, in our peaceful territories," said volunteer Yuriy Tyra, who will deliver the Easter cakes to our military. He emphasized that all Easter cakes would be delivered to the places of service by the holiday — "with our gratitude and warmth."

On the results of meetings in the Parliament and with Azerbaijani officials during his official visit to Baku: 1. We appreciate the unwavering position of the President, the Parliament and the Government of Azerbaijan in support of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. 2. We discussed the continuation and expansion of humanitarian aid to Ukraine: electrical equipment, humanitarian demining, training of sappers. An anti-personnel mine disposal machine provided by Azerbaijan is operating in Kharkiv region. 3. Invited Azerbaijan to participate at the highest level in the Peace Summit in Switzerland and the International Conference on the Reconstruction of Ukraine in Berlin. 4. I am bringing home good news for Ukrainian children! Agreed with the Minister of Social Protection on free health and psychological rehabilitation for 60 children. 🇦🇹 Discussed important areas of cooperation with the delegation of the Austrian National Council. We are grateful to the political forces that defend democratic principles and the rule of law not only in Austria, but also at the EU level and far beyond. I also thanked Austria for its support of Ukraine's course toward EU membership — we must maintain the existing positive dynamics on this track. I expressed the expectations for assistance with the development of rehabilitation centers in Ukraine. I emphasized the need to implement the Peace Formula of the President of Ukraine. In particular, we would be grateful for assistance in engaging the countries of Asia, Africa and Latin America in the implementation of the Formula. ❗️ The Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Policy and Interparliamentary Cooperation Oleksandr Merezhko and member of the Committee Bohdan Yaremenko met with young members of the National Council of the Austrian Parliament. The participants of the meeting discussed topical issues of European politics and this year's election campaigns, in particular in Austria, the current security and humanitarian situation in Ukraine, the course of events at the front, the Law on mobilization recently approved by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, countering propaganda, disinformation and populism, and the provision of financial, economic and military-technical assistance to Ukraine by foreign partners. Special attention during the meeting was paid to the discussion of European integration, in particular, Austria's support for Ukraine's accession to the EU, reforms in Ukraine, as well as strengthening of the Ukrainian-Austrian interparliamentary dialogue. ❗️ The russians are doing everything they can to disrupt the participation of the Global South in the Peace Summit, — Yevheniia Kravchuk, the Deputy Head of the Committee on Humanitarian and Information Policy, member of the parliamentary delegation to PACE. The russians are trying to reduce the number of participants in the Summit and weaken the initiative. The list of participants is deliberately not published to avoid russian pressure on these countries. The Peace Summit is not only about Ukraine, but also about the global world order. 🇺🇦🇫🇮 Oleh Bondarenko, the Chairman of the Committee on Environmental Policy and Nature Management, paid a working visit to Finland as part of the Ukrainian delegation. The delegation met with the Speaker of the Eduskunta (Parliament of Finland), Mr. Jussi Halla-Aho, as well as with members of the relevant Eduskunta Committee. The Ukrainian delegation also met with the Minister of Climate and Environment of Finland Kai Mukkänen. During the working visit, the key issues for discussion were the development of approaches to recycling construction/demolition waste, as well as the formation of a system of civil defense facilities. At present, it is extremely important for Ukraine to study the Finnish experience in forming a system of civil defense structures, their protective properties and special equipment, as well as the maintenance, operation and use of civil defense structures in peacetime as multifunctional dual-purpose structures.

❗️ It is important for Ukraine to strengthen its leadership on the PABSEC platform and to formulate clear economic guidelines for cooperation between member states, said Oleksandr Marikovskyi, the Chairman of the PABSEC Economic Policy and Development Committee. He said that he had been elected as the Chairman of the Committee for two years.

In my first speech, I called on Secretary General Asaf Gadzhiyev and the members of the Committee from 🇦🇱🇦🇲🇦🇿🇧🇬🇬🇪🇬🇷🇲🇩🇷🇴🇲🇰🇷🇸 and of course 🇹🇷 to support my initiative to improve the efficiency of economic cooperation.

In particular, he suggested: - establishing of the Committee's chat room; - establishing clear performance indicators in improving trade turnover and investment activity; - development and implementation of a regular analytical report on interaction between countries and on growing markets; - creating a format of economic clubs with the involvement of local business associations; - attracting co-financing of events from local business representatives.
