Trading is a lot simpler than y'all think.
You don't need a very complex trading strategy.
All you need is a stupidly simple approach and the discipline to stick with it over a long period of time.
I'm telling you right now...
A bullish engulfing at a key support level has edge.
It's profitable.
But... most people would trade that strategy for a few trades.
Then... an inevitable losing streak happens.
They change the strategy instantly.
That strategy would have made them money over many trades.
But... they couldn't stick with it for long enough.
This is a vicious cycle most traders never get out of.
They're always looking for a better strategy.
If your strategy has no edge, then, yeah... look for better strategies.
But... stick with your strategy for long enough to find out if it's profitable or not.
You can't know if a strategy is bad or not after just 10 trades.
Trade your current strategy for 100 trades.
If after 100 trades it loses money, then you change it.
But... most traders wouldn't be able to stick with their strategy for 10 trades.
100 is from another universe.
And... that's why they're fucking losers.
Challenge for y'all:
Execute your strategy for 50 trades.
It doesn't matter if your strategy is profitable or not.
Just stick with it for 50 trades, no matter the outcome.
Try doing this.
If you can do it, you might have a surprise at the end.
You might just find out that your strategy was profitable all along.
You were the one who wasn't profitable.
Again... try it.
Trust me.
