❗️HTS Attacks self administrated neighborhoods Sheikh Maqsoud & Ashrafieh This afternoon HTS started to attack the self administrated neighborhoods Sheikh Maqsoud & Ashrafieh in Aleppo with tanks and artillery. Despite all attempts to infiltrate the neighborhoods were thwarted first reports of wounded and killed civilians arrive. This is another attempt to force the SDF into an agreement on HTS’s terms. Taking into consideration todays visit of the Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, the Turkish minister of Defence and the head of the Turkish intelligence agency MIT in Damascus it becomes clear that the Turkish state is orchestrating the recent escalation. The people of Aleppo as well as all over Rojava are right now on the streets, showing their support and proclaiming the vision of a democratic Syria. The people of Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh will defend their neighbourhoods but also we need to show that we stand with the Revolution and break the silence. Brutal attacks on Alawites in Homs and cities along the Syrian coast Following the murder of a Bedouin couple, which was exploited to incite unrest against the Alawites in Homs, violent attacks on Alewites was wittnessed, initially in Homs, but quickly spreading to other cities along the Syrian coast. Following a call by the spiritual leader of the Alawite community in Syria, thousands of Alawites protested in the regions around Homs, Tartus and Latakia. They are demanding an end to sectarian attacks, the release of political prisoners and the right to self-determination. Security forces of the HTS transitional government led by Jolani/AlSharaa were either unable or unwilling to stop the attacks. In some cases, demonstrators were shot at. Thousands of supporters of the Jolani government hunted down Alawites and burned down Alawite shops. Sectarian violence under Assad or now under Jolani: the answer is decentralisation, self-determination and the right to self-defence!

Kurdish Freedom Movement Leadership: Our forces in Zap withdrew to appropriate areas In a statement by the Kurdish Freedom Movement it was said that the guerrilla forces in Zap, which were at risk of war, withdrew to different and appropriate areas on November 16. The leadership stated that they believe that this step will contribute to the solution of the Kurdish issue as confrontation is avoided: "Following the withdrawal of our guerrilla forces at risk of war within the borders of Turkey, this adjustment and withdrawal from the Zap region has become an important practical contribution to the success of the Peace and Democratic Society Process led by Leader Abdullah Öcalan and once again demonstrates our determination for the process. We believe that this new step of ours will serve the solution of the Kurdish issue and the peace and democratization of Turkey."

Damascus Government's Armed Groups Commit Massacre Against Civilians in Deir Hafer Countryside On Saturday evening, pro-Turkey factions affiliated with the Damascus government carried out a massacre against civilians in the village of Umm Tina, located in the Deir Hafer countryside east of Aleppo. The attack began with drone strikes, followed by heavy artillery shelling at approximately 7:00 p.m., deliberately targeting civilian homes. As a result of these barbaric attacks, seven civilians were martyred including two children and four others were wounded. The martyrs are: Amina Muhammad al-Azzawi (75 years old) Fatima Hayya Ubaid (65 years old) Amina Muhammad al-Hamza (22 years old) Aisha Hamza Ubaid (18 years old) Hamza Ubaid al-Razzaq (4 years old) Abdul Ghani Rahman al-Ubaid (1 year old) Rahaf Hussein al-Azzawi (23 years old) The wounded are: Jumaa Hamoud al-Muhaisen (60 years old) Maryam Hamoud al-Muhaisen (55 years old) Halima Mahmoud al-Muhaisen (65 years old) Amina Hamoud al-Amoura (20 years old) We strongly condemn this heinous crime, which reflects the systematic policy pursued by these factions for years to deliberately target innocent civilians. Final Statement on Operation Permanent People's Security in Al-Hasakah As part of the ongoing war against the terrorist organization ISIS, and in fulfillment of their moral and national duty toward the Syrian peoples in all their communities and regions, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), the Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria, and the Women’s Protection Units (YPJ) launched this morning a large-scale security campaign under the name “Permanent Peoples' Security” across several neighborhoods in Al-Hasakah city. The campaign involved combing and raiding numerous ISIS hideouts and dismantling multiple terrorist networks. This campaign comes at a time when ISIS has intensified its activities across Syria, taking advantage of the chaos and security vacuum in many areas of the Syrian Badia and the interior. In these areas, the organization has sought to reassert control and expand into new regions—particularly North and East Syria, which host prisons and camps holding thousands of ISIS members and affiliates. On the ground, the campaign constituted a preemptive strike against ISIS attempts to reorganize, establish sleeper cells, and launch attacks targeting prisons holding its members and leaders—especially in Al-Hasakah. Intelligence obtained by our forces and partner forces revealed that ISIS had been planning to turn Al-Hasakah into a hub for terrorist activity, particularly in neighborhoods surrounding Al-Sina’a Prison and on the city’s outskirts. This campaign successfully thwarted those plans once again. After approximately 14 hours of continuous effort involving more than 3,000 fighters, our forces achieved all their objectives. A total of 51 terrorists were captured, including individuals directly involved in attacks on civilians, as well as on security and service institutions. Dangerous terrorist networks were dismantled, including cells that had been plotting attacks on Al-Sina’a Prison and Al-Hol Camp. The campaign has neutralized the immediate threat to civilians and regional stability. In addition, significant quantities of weapons, ammunition, and logistical supplies were seized, including: -50 AK-47 rifles -155 AK-47 magazines -16 pistols -16 pistol magazines -1 BKC machine gun with ammunition -5 hand grenades -3 VHF radios -3 Brno rifles -Quantities of AK-47 ammunition -Various military equipment, quivers and clothing used in terrorist operations. The conclusion of this campaign marks an important step toward strengthening security and stability in the region. However, our forces remain vigilant and will continue to monitor any suspicious activity and intensify counterterrorism efforts at all levels. We extend our sincere gratitude to the people of Al-Hasakah for their cooperation and effective support of the operation’s forces in achieving these goals. We reaffirm our commitment to continue making every effort and sacrifice necessary to safeguard the security and stability of our region against any terrorist threat. 41 years ago today: on 15 August 1984, a struggle began that changed the history of Kurdistan The armed resistance laid the foundation for the social and political force that later made the revolution in Rojava possible and turned the Kurdish movement into an indispensable player in the region. Statement to Our People and to the Public Opinion Regarding the Ongoing Attacks on Our Forces and Our People At a time when the Syrian people, along with all parties committed to a peaceful solution, are looking forward to stability across the entire geography of Syria, the factions supported by Turkey and operating under the umbrella of the Damascus Government continue to commit repeated violations of the ceasefire in several areas, including Deir Ezzor, Deir Hafer, the Tishreen Dam, and Tal Tamir. These violations also include suspicious movements around the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafiyeh neighborhoods in the city of Aleppo, in blatant breach of the agreement signed between the administration of the two neighborhoods and the Damascus administration on April 1, 2025. These factions have attacked areas of North and East Syria for more than 22 times, using heavy weapons, launching ground assaults, and attempting to cross the Euphrates River to target our bases in Deir Ezzor. These attacks have caused significant damage in areas inhabited by civilians. Such aggressions contradict the spirit of the agreement concluded between Mr. Ahmed al-Sharaa and our General Commander, Mazloum Abdi—an agreement whose essence is the complete cessation of fire, the protection of civilians, and the promotion of opportunities for a political solution. Throughout this period, we have exercised restraint and sought to maintain calm despite these aggressions, out of our belief that Syria’s stability requires genuine partnership and shared responsibility from all parties. However, the continuation of these attacks threatens mutual trust and undermine these understandings, placing them at risk and reviving a war mentality at a time when Syria most needs dialogue—while the Damascus Government bears full responsibility. Accordingly, we: 1. Call on the Damascus Government and its affiliated factions, as well as the factions supported by Turkey, to immediately cease all violations and adhere to the terms of the agreement. 2. Urge the international community and human rights organizations to monitor these violations and work to ensure respect for signed agreements. 3. Extend our hand for dialogue and cooperation toward a safe and stable Syria, while at the same time affirming our readiness to take all necessary measures to defend the rights and security of our people.
