ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ { XXVII } A crown prince or hereditary prince is the heir apparent to the throne in a royal or imperial monarchy. The female form of the title is crown princess, which may refer either to an heiress apparent or, especially in earlier times. A royal family typically includes the spouse of the reigning monarch, surviving spouses of a deceased monarch, the children, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, and paternal cousins of the reigning monarch, as well as their spouses. In some cases, royal family membership may extend to great grandchildren and more distant descendants of a monarch. In certain monarchies where voluntary abdication is the norm, such as the Netherlands, a royal family may also include one or more former monarchs. The royal family is defined by who holds the styles Majesty and Royal Highness. There is often a distinction between persons of the blood royal and those that marry into the royal family. Under most systems, only persons in the first category are dynasts, that is, potential successors to the throne (unless the member of the latter category is also in line to the throne in their own right, a frequent occurrence in royal families which frequently intermarry). This is not always observed; some monarchies have operated by the principle of jure uxoris.

Prince Rezef Hill (Regef Hill). Prince is a male ruler (ranked below a king, grand prince, and grand duke) or a male member of a monarch's or former monarch's family. Prince is also a title of nobility. Regef Hill is first prince of Eldyme Empire who aims to become the next emperor. Regef has golden blond hair just like his sister, but his blue eyes are much darker in color. He has short wavy hair with many thin strands sticking out, and is a striking handsome man with an angelic demeanour to whom many noble ladies are attracted. This is something that even he is aware and uses it as his advantage to manipulate women who fall for his appearance. But Regef has no resemblance to the emperor unlike his sister and Edel Lindberg, which is a clear indicator to the fact that he's not even the emperor's real son. In fact, he's said to be a look-alike of his biological father, Leo Francis. He seems to be a tall man with a well-built body, and wears lavish clothes befitting of his royal status.

Princess Cayena Hill (Kayena Hill). Princess is a regal rank and the feminine equivalent of prince. Most often, the term has been used for the consort of a prince, or for the daughter of a king or prince. Kayena Hill is the first princess of the Eldyme Empire. Kayena is a petite fair-skinned woman with back-length golden-blonde hair that is often styled in such a way that two of her locks are in the front and haughty icy blue eyes that she inherited from her father just like her younger brother, but overall she resembles the Empress. She wears various jeweled accessories along with luxurious and regal gowns having lots of laces and frills befitting of a royal. She is often seen with her hair loose, but she sometimes braids it with pretty ribbons whose colors match her outfit. She is the most beautiful woman in the Eldyme Empire that she is often praised for her beauty and her beauty is such that it puts famous paintings to shame.

Regef asks if it's because of her fear of retaliation, and assures that he'll protect her and never let that happen again. But Kayena shakes her head, and asks him who he wants to frame. She tells him that even though it's easy to cover up poison acquired from the black market, flimsy evidence wouldn't be enough, but he again assures her saying that the evidence is clear and everything will be over once it's revealed to the public, and asks if she's saying all this because of Raffaello- her unrequited love. Kayena again says no and warns him that if he chooses to frame and execute young Lord Gillian whose House is a vassal of the Kidreys, the Kidreys would never stay still and watch their vassal get dragged down. She explains that since her maternal grandfather Count Hamel is involved in the black market, the Kidreys would discover House Hamel siphoning off the Emperor's assets into the black market if Regef interferes with the Kidreys' vassals, and this in turn would lead to the declination of House Hamel and give Regef a hard time under accusations of fabrication.

Since Regef was raised as a depraved child deprived of love and affection, he has a twisted personality which turned him into an utter tyrant in his past life. In contrast to his angelic demeanour and handsome face, he's a person whose cruel disposition is unmatched. Regef is also highly possessive and power-hungry since the emperor always warned him that everything he has could be taken away in an instant if he doesn't have power and authority, and hence he always gets angry when someone tries to take anything he covets. He's also very cunning and manipulative as shown when he manipulates and uses the past Kayena as a marionette for his own selfish desires, and does anything he can to achieve his goals even if it means using others as his pawns. He's also a short-tempered person who doesn't hesitate to kill others as shown when he proceeds to kill Lydia after she enrages him, and has the habit of breaking nearby objects while throwing tantrums when he's angry. Despite this, he has a soft spot for those who genuinely care about him like the current Kayena, but he inadvertently hurts them because of his possessiveness and selfish desires.ㅤㅤ
