حثّ النّبيّ -ﷺ- على استغلالها بالأعمال الصّالحة، قال -ﷺ-: "ما مِن أيَّامٍ أعظَمُ عِندَ اللهِ ولا أحَبُّ إليه مِن العَمَلِ فيهنَّ مِن هذه الأيَّامِ العَشرِ، فأكثِروا فيهنَّ مِن التَّهليلِ والتَّكبيرِ والتَّحميدِ"
وقفة عرفة، قال -ﷺ- في فضل صيام يوم عرفة: "صِيَامُ يَومِ عَرَفَةَ، أَحْتَسِبُ علَى اللهِ أَنْ يُكَفِّرَ السَّنَةَ الَّتي قَبْلَهُ، وَالسَّنَةَ الَّتي بَعْدَهُ"
وأقسم اللّه عزَّ وجلّ بها بالقرآن، والعظيمُ لا يُقسمُ إلّا بالعظيم: «وَالْفَجْرِ*وَلَيَالٍ عَشْرٍ»
