🏛️ The "Micro-Democracy" of Telegram: Why Channels Are Built Like Countries
Ever wondered why Telegram channel levels constantly fluctuate? It’s because Telegram’s "Boost" system is actually a live experiment in political science.
Here is why running a Telegram channel is surprisingly similar to running a country:
1. The Consent of the Governed
In political science, a government only holds power because its citizens agree to support it. The moment citizens withdraw that consent, the system collapses.
• On Telegram: A channel owner doesn’t truly "own" their level or their perks (like posting stories or custom emojis). They are simply borrowing that power from Premium members. If users remove their boosts, the channel's infrastructure instantly collapses.
2. Voluntary Taxation
Think of a Premium boost as a voluntary tax. Citizens pay taxes because they expect public goods in return (safety, infrastructure, services).
• On Telegram: Subscribers give a channel their valuable boost because they expect "digital goods" in return—great content, a good community, or exclusive perks. If the creator stops delivering value, the "taxpayers" take their boosts and leave.
3. The Power of Defection
In the real world, if people are unhappy with their current system and have the means, they migrate to a different country or support a rival party.
• On Telegram: The power is entirely in the hands of the customer. Telegram enforces a 24-hour cooldown, meaning a user can log in, revoke their support, and defect to a competitor’s channel in seconds.
💡 The Takeaway
Telegram didn't just build a feature; they built a micro-economy driven by human psychology. For creators, it’s a constant reminder: You don't rule your audience—you serve them.
Being seen was never important to me because I grew up in a life where I was never truly seen. What others wanted to see was their version of me, their wishes, their expectations, and the role they hoped I would play.
As long as I performed the role they assigned to me, I received attention. In a way, it felt as though I was famous in their world. Yet that attention came with a price: criticism, judgment, and disappointment whenever I stepped outside the character they had written for me.
If I did not perform the role, silence often followed. Attention returned only when I became who they wanted me to be. Looking back, I realize I was not living. I was surviving.
Throughout that time, I searched for a pathway that would allow me to breathe and simply be myself. Eventually, I found it. It was a doorway leading beyond the familiar world. Stepping through it meant exposing myself to the unknown. The voices of those around me echoed in my ears, repeating warnings about how dangerous people are and how frightening the world can be.
Yet my own eyes saw something different.
My heart, my trust, and my focus on beauty allowed me to see heaven where others saw hell. For a long time, I wondered why I could not see what they saw, and why they could not see what I saw. It often felt as though I was alone in witnessing the beauty that existed all around us.
Where people saw problems, I saw solutions. Where people saw something dirty, I saw something that could be cleaned, reused, recycled, or repaired. Where people saw conflict, I saw wasted energy. Where people saw war, I saw destruction. Where people looked through the lens of hate, I naturally looked through the lens of love.
What I found most interesting was that whenever I chose love, many people would try to convince me to choose judgment instead. They encouraged me to see the world through fear, suspicion, and criticism.
I tried their way at times. Each time I did, I felt myself sinking into depression. Yet many of the same people who encouraged those views were also searching desperately for relief from their own suffering.
The solution to my depression turned out to be simple, though not always easy. I returned to seeing life through love, curiosity, playfulness, and appreciation. The moment I did, the world became lighter again.
Still, the journey often felt lonely. I felt as though I was standing in a heaven that no one else could see while others insisted that living in anger and judgment was normal, even enjoyable.
But something has changed.
I have begun noticing more people who see what I see. They may be far away. Our paths may never physically cross. Yet I can feel their presence. There is a different energy in the air now, more warmth, more kindness, more openness, more love.
Even when no one is standing beside me, I no longer feel alone.
I can sense others arriving at the same viewpoint, each in their own way, choosing to explore a path rooted in love rather than fear. And that realization itself brings a quiet kind of peace.
Beliefs are fascinating tools. When I consciously experiment with what I choose to believe and observe how those beliefs manifest in my life, the process becomes an adventure. Watching my own mind and the outcomes it creates is both insightful and exciting.
Each time I let go of an old belief system and replace it with a new one, I notice my excitement growing. That excitement guides me into the unknown, into what many would call darkness. I enter without knowing where the tunnel will lead, yet I continue walking. When I eventually emerge, I can see the changes within myself. I can also see how people respond differently when they encounter the person I have become.
I never stopped entering those tunnels of darkness. Ironically, they keep me grounded. While many people find darkness frightening, I find it to be my safe space. The light, on the other hand, is where I can reach greater heights, yet it is often the place that feels more challenging and exposed.
Whenever I encounter a blockage, I return to the tunnel. There, something shifts. When I emerge again, I often discover a new pathway forward, and my growth continues. Eventually, I arrive at an open space filled with possibilities. At those moments, I wonder which direction to take. The destination I desire is often higher than where I stand, requiring me to keep climbing.
There have been times when I saw myself as a climbing plant, growing by leaning on supports around me. Yet there comes a stage in every journey when support can only take us so far. Beyond that point, growth requires something different. The plant can no longer rely on what holds it up. It must rise higher through its own strength, reaching toward the sky not because it is supported, but because it has developed the ability to stand and grow on its own.
Perhaps that is the stage I find myself approaching now: grateful for every support that helped me climb, yet learning how to rise beyond them, trusting the strength that has been quietly growing within me all along.
🌌 The Power of Words: Paths of Life and Death
Suicide and murder may look like opposites—one turns harm inward, the other outward. Yet both often trace back to the same root: words.
💔 Suicide grows from words spoken to the self or absorbed from others—phrases that cut, diminish, or silence a person’s worth.
🔥 Murder grows from words spoken against others—anger, blame, or dehumanization that fuels the intent to harm.
🌫 Even silence can be a word: neglect, indifference, or emotional absence can wound as deeply as spoken cruelty.
✨ Words are not just sounds; they are forces. They can destroy, but they can also heal. A single phrase of kindness, recognition, or truth can interrupt the spiral that leads to harm.
🌱 In the end, both paths remind us: the way we speak—to ourselves and to others—can be the difference between despair and hope, between harm and healing.
❓ Reflection Question:
How can we become more mindful of the words we choose, knowing they may carry the weight of life or death?
Words is all around us, follow the words it guide you to the path, when you don't like the path unfollow the word and follow a new words and still don't like the path. Create your own words and follow it at the end of the day learn which word lead you closer to the destination you want to reach.
