LG unveils record-breaking 6G network prototype South Korean company LG Electronics announced a new successful prototype test of 6G network technology and equipment. The working sample delivered an impressive 1 Tbps data transfer rate. 1} Using the same system, LG has built another demo in South Korea. The new station uses a frequency band from 100 to 10 THz, which allows it to transmit data at a speed of 1 Tbit/s. In addition, LG also introduced full duplex (FDR) technology, which allows simultaneous transmission and reception of data in the same frequency band. 2} The company has admitted that it is now impossible to launch 6G networks on a commercial level. LG's solution requires a power amplifier to operate its ultra-wideband wireless connection in such a high frequency band. #Information_tech
