🧡 One of our ERA Wallet users told us he now carries his wallet in a genuine leather sleeve handcrafted by his wife.
Moments like these remind us that we're building more than just a device - we're creating something that becomes part of people's everyday lives.
☺️ Thank you for sharing these moments with us. Honestly, every time we receive your photos, stories, or even a simple message about how you use your ERA Wallet, we get just as excited as kids Keep them coming! We absolutely love seeing how ERA becomes part of your story 🫰🏽

🌱 $18 million. One seed phrase. One notebook. 🎬 A scene from the movie The Tuner. In the scene, thieves try to steal a handwritten seed phrase. The owner catches them and forces them to eat the piece of paper. Problem solved? Not really. One of the thieves memorized the seed phrase. And that's all it takes to gain full access to the crypto. 💭 Food for thought. - If someone finds your seed phrase written on paper, they find access to your crypto. - If someone finds your metal seed backup, they find permanent access to your crypto. - But if someone finds an ERA Recovery Card? They'll most likely find... just a piece of plastic. And if you're using MultiShare, a single card isn't enough to recover your wallet. ❗️Sometimes the goal isn't just to back up your seed. It's to make sure that if someone finds your backup, they still can't steal your crypto.

🚨 Scam Breakdown #02 OR macOS malware is stealing Telegram accounts and crypto wallets. Researchers at SlowMist have uncovered a macOS infostealer that follows a five-step attack chain, ultimately giving attackers full access to a victim's Telegram account and crypto assets. Here's how it works: ⏺Password harvesting A fake "Google API Update" prompt tricks users into entering their macOS password. The malware then extracts the Chrome Safe Storage key, browser cookies, and even Apple Notes. ⏺Telegram takeover It copies the Telegram Desktop tdata folder, letting attackers access the victim's account on another device without a password, SMS, or 2FA. ⏺Wallet database theft The malware targets data from 16 crypto wallet applications, including Electrum, Exodus, Atomic Wallet, Ledger Live, Trezor Suite, and others. ⏺Offline decryption Using the credentials stolen in step one, attackers attempt to decrypt encrypted wallet databases offline on their own machines - without needing continued access to the victim's computer. ⏺Application replacement The malware can replace legitimate applications with malicious versions to maintain persistence and continue stealing sensitive data. ⚠️ Stay protected: - Never enter your macOS password into unexpected pop-up windows. - Enable a Telegram Desktop Passcode. - Regularly review your active Telegram sessions. - Don't store passwords or seed phrases in Apple Notes. - Never download wallet software or updates from links shared in chats. 👍Don't Trust. Verify.

🔴 This article may ruin your trust in your hardware wallet. People spend thousands of dollars securing their crypto... ⏺ then blindly approve transactions they can't read. ⏺ Or trust that their wallet wasn't modified before it reached them. ⏺ Or simply hope their private keys were generated correctly. Should security really work like that? We don't think so. Our latest deep dive explains why "Don't Trust. Verify" should apply to every hardware wallet. 📖 Read the full article

⚠️ This week, our team was targeted again. The attack looked completely legitimate: 📲 A Telegram message from someone we already knew. 🎞 A Google Meet invitation. 🤩 Then a request to switch to Microsoft Teams and "update" the application. One of our internal security principles is never to trust something just because it looks legitimate. We analyze these kinds of attacks, understand how they work, and continuously improve our internal security policies. Thanks to that approach, we quickly discovered that the "update" could have downloaded a malicious script. This wasn't an isolated case. Over the past few weeks, we've seen several high-profile incidents: ⏺ The compromise of the official Injective SDK. ⏺ Malware distributed through fake software updates. ⏺ Blind signing, where users unknowingly approve malicious transactions. All of these attacks have one thing in common: they rely on people trusting what they cannot verify. A few simple security habits can significantly reduce your risk: ✅ Download software only from official sources. ✅ Always verify what you're signing before pressing Confirm. ✅ Never grant permissions you don't fully understand. Don't Trust. Verify.

❓Why do financial tools evolve? As money became digital, virtual cards emerged. They can be issued instantly, frozen in seconds, and replaced just as quickly. Then came metal cards. Not because they make payments more secure, but because the tool that gives you access to your money should reflect its value. That was our mindset when we built ERA Wallet. Security isn't just about cryptography or a secure architecture. ⏺It's also about the materials, durability, and the confidence that your device is built for real life - not just laboratory tests. 🔍 That's why we push ERA Wallet through the kinds of challenges real users might face every day. 🚴 For example... what happens if a bicycle rides over it? 🚨 Scam Breakdown #01 or How a user lost $999,999 in USDT with a single signature. ⏺Step 1. The victim signed a phishing token approval According to Scam Sniffer, the victim signed a malicious token approval transaction on Ethereum. ⏺Step 2. No USDT was actually sent The victim didn't transfer any USDT. Instead, they signed a standard ERC-20 approve() transaction, giving a smart contract permission to spend their tokens on their behalf. ⏺Step 3. The contract gained permission to spend the funds Once the approval was signed, the attacker no longer needed any further interaction from the victim. Using the standard ERC-20 transferFrom() function, the malicious contract was able to transfer the victim's USDT without requesting another signature. ⏺Step 4. The first withdrawal failed According to on-chain data, the attacker initially attempted to withdraw exactly 1,000,000 USDT. The transaction failed. The reason was simple: the wallet held roughly $631 less than the requested amount. ⏺Step 5. Thirty-six seconds later, the attacker tried again After 36 seconds, the attacker (or an automated wallet drainer) checked the wallet balance again and initiated a new series of transactions. ⏺Step 6. The funds were drained. Total: 999,999 USDT. ⚠️ The key takeaway Most people believe crypto is only lost when a seed phrase is stolen or a wallet is hacked. This case shows a different reality. Sometimes, a single signature is enough to give an attacker legitimate permission to move your assets. 😏 This is exactly the kind of problem ERA Lens was designed to help solve.

☀️ How's your summer going? Beach? Mountains? Traveling? Or maybe just enjoying the sunshine? 📌 One thing we've noticed: phone screens get a lot harder to read in bright sunlight. ☝️ That's one of the reasons ERA Wallet uses an EPD display. Whether you're in the shade or under direct sunlight, the screen stays easy to read. 😎 Because accessing your crypto shouldn't depend on the weather

🔴 A hardware wallet won't protect you if you trust scammers. A counterfeit hardware wallet was shipped with a QR code inside the box. Instead of taking users to the manufacturer's official website, it redirected them to a cloned phishing site where they were tricked into downloading a trojanized companion app. So how do you stay safe? 💠 Buy your hardware wallet only from the official store or an authorized reseller. 💠 Download the companion app only from the manufacturer's official website. Never scan QR codes included inside the box. Security in crypto isn't just about owning a hardware wallet. It's about verifying every step. 🔵 Don't trust. Verify. Using ERA Wallet? 🙈 One thing you should know about ERA's founder. Alex has an endless stream of ideas. Every time we think something is finally approved... "Looks great 👍 I have a couple more ideas" The only thing we've learned over time is that "a couple" rarely means two 😄 That's why we never settle for "good enough"

🚀 The biggest ERA Wallet update to date. We didn’t just add a few new coins. We expanded entire ecosystems. 🔴 New blockchain support · Litecoin, Dogecoin, Dash, Bitcoin Cash · Cardano, XRP, TON, Sui And the entire Cosmos ecosystem - 29 networks in a single update, including ATOM, Osmosis, Celestia, Injective, Sei, THORChain, and many more. But this release is about much more than new chains. 🔴 We're also introducing Quick Sign ERA Wallet supports up to 10 completely independent seed phrases on a single device. Previously, users had to manually identify which wallet a transaction belonged to before signing. Now it's simple: • Unlock your device • Press Sign • ERA automatically detects the correct seed phrase and takes you directly to the signing flow Fewer clicks. Less confusion. Faster approvals. 🔴 ERA Lens just got smarter You can now clearly review and verify: • Uniswap V2 & V3 swaps, including Universal Router • SushiSwap swaps • Fly swap aggregator transactions • Aave V2 & V3 lending actions: Supply, Borrow, Repay, Withdraw We've also expanded network support inside ERA Lens: • Native support for Unichain and Boba Network - no custom configuration required. • 28 new tokens added across both networks, plus USDKG on Ethereum. 🔴 Even stronger transaction verification ERA Lens now implements ERC-8213, displaying standardized EIP-712 and calldata digests directly on the device. Instead of blindly trusting raw, unreadable transaction data, you can independently verify exactly what message or transaction you're signing. No blind signing. No guesswork. Just transparent verification. Fewer steps. Fewer mistakes. Faster signing. And it all remains fully air-gapped. This is one of the most significant updates in ERA Wallet's history. And we're just getting started.. 😉

Why your phone isn't a safe place to verify a transaction Some hardware wallets have no screen. To sign, you tap the device to your phone and read the transaction details in a mobile app. Sounds fine but there's a problem: where you're verifying. The whole point of a hardware wallet is to move the critical step onto a device that's offline and runs nothing else. Your phone is the opposite: 📱 It's online constantly 🌐 It runs your browser, apps, and extensions - any of which could be compromised ⚠️ If it's infected, it can show you one transaction while the device signs another So you approve what looks correct on screen, and something else gets signed underneath. A device with no screen outsources the most important step - seeing what you're approving - back to the one device you were trying to protect yourself from. ERA has its own screen for exactly this reason: 🔒 The transaction is shown on the device itself - air-gapped, running nothing else, connected to nothing 👁 ERA Lens™ decodes the token, amount, address, and function before you sign ✅ What you see on the screen is what actually gets signed Verification only counts if it happens somewhere you can trust. Your phone isn't it.

What "air-gapped" actually means? When a hardware wallet is called "secure," people usually mean the private key is stored offline. But how the device communicates with the outside world matters just as much. Air-gapped means the device never physically connects to anything during signing. No USB. No Bluetooth. No Wi-Fi. There is no channel between your wallet and the internet that anyone could intercept. Why it matters: if a wallet connects via cable or Bluetooth, that connection is an attack surface - malware on a compromised device can try to alter a transaction in transit. An air-gap removes that vector entirely. There's nothing to intercept, because there's no connection to begin with. ERA communicates only through QR codes. You scan the transaction onto the device, sign it offline, and scan the signature back. Nothing travels over a cable or wireless channel. But ERA's architecture goes further it's built so you can verify every step yourself, instead of trusting the device: 🗝 Key generation. You influence the entropy your key is created from. No black box. 👨‍💻 The QR code. ERA runs on the open EIP-4527 protocol - no hidden metadata, no proprietary encoding. Paste the payload into ChatGPT and you'll see exactly what your device is broadcasting. 🔍 The transaction. ERA Lens™ decodes the calldata on-device and shows you the token, amount, address, and function before you sign. If it can't decode it, signing stops.
