Today, graduates and job applicants are too selective of what to do. That is why many people are not doing anything with their lives. But if you decide to do anything you find, very soon, you will locate what you want to do. One day, a young man went to an office where they were looking for someone to employ as a dispatch rider. They were looking for a Senior Secondary School Certificate Holder as a dispatch rider but this young man had a Higher National Diploma (HND), and was already through with his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Programme. He told them he was interested in the job. But they told him, “You are over-qualified. We are looking for an SSCE Holder”. Defiantly, he told them that he was interested. You know, when they saw his tenacity, they employed him and made him a supervisor. They still went ahead to look for another person to employ as a dispatch rider. They saw the audacity in him and couldn’t let him go. They needed a quality human resource material like him. There is a lesson to learn from this story. The young man decided to do whatever his hands found, and that decision gave him a better job. It would have amounted to a show of pride for him to say, “I am a HND holder. I cannot stoop so low to do the work of a dispatch rider”. If he had said that, he would have remained unemployed. Beloved, of what use is your big certificate if it cannot secure a job for you because of pride? I counsel you to start from somewhere. Even if you seem to be overqualified for the job, start from somewhere. In doing what you find, you will locate what you want. _REMEMBER THIS: In doing what you find, you will locathe what you want._ ASSIGNMENTS: 1. Make up your mind to conquer pride and over-selectivity. 2. Do what your hands find to do and deploy maximum quality, excellence and professionalism in doing it. PASTOR PAUL ENENCHE.* DATE: *TUESDAY, 04 JULY, 2023* TOPIC: *THE TRANSMITTABLE POWER OF GOD.* SCRIPTURE: _And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul: So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them._ Acts 19:11-12. THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: *The Power of God is transmittable.* Many years ago, a woman was in a programme where I ministered and she had neck tumor. I prayed on a handkerchief and gave it to her. This woman had gone to University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital (UNTH), Enugu and several other places for healing, but all to no avail. She then decided to tie this imparted handkerchief on her neck permanently. The more the handkerchief remained on her neck, the more the growth dried up. In fact, one day, she sent to ask me a question, “Can I wash it? Will the Power be washed away?” I replied her, “No. It is not physical power. It is spiritual. So, water can’t affect it.” Not too long after that, the growth disappeared and her neck became normal like that of a young lady. She was already in her sixties at the time. You see, that is how it works. The Power of God is transmittable. It is a tangible spiritual materiality that can be transmitted through material points of contact as though it is a storage battery. And that is how the anointing oil is. It transmits the Power of God. Even those who watch us preach via the television and satellite channels can contact the anointing. I have heard of people who placed their hands on television screens and got healed. Sometime ago, in Adamawa State, a young boy who had cancer was taken to the hospital for surgery. In fact, the medical experts attending to him did not know what to do about his case anymore. Then his mother placed the boy’s hand on a television screen while we were ministering, and the boy got healed. He was healed of the cancer. God did the surgery all by Himself. That was a practical example of connecting to the Power of God via material points of contact. *REMEMBER THIS:* _The Power of God is transmittable._ ASSIGNMENTS: 1. Connect to the transmittable Power of God by faith to deal with the challenges of your life. 2. Put your hope and faith absolutely in God. PRAYER: Thank You Lord for showing me that the anointing is transmittable. I put my faith completely in You, and I connect to Your Power, Lord in Jesus’ Name. PASTOR PAUL ENENCHE.* DATE: *MONDAY 03 JULY 2023.* TOPIC: *AVOIDING THE ERROR OF OVER-CONFIDENCE.* SCRIPTURE: _Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall._ 1 CORINTHIANS 10:12. THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: *You easily fall into temptation when you are over-confident in yourself without putting your confidence in God.* Sometime ago, I heard a painful story about a pilot who had been flying aircrafts for more than thirty years. Some aircraft engineers carried out a check on an aircraft he was about to fly, and discovered some mechanical faults. They told him that the aircraft was not fit to fly. But because he had been flying aircrafts confidently for thirty years, he turned down their counsel and flew this faulty aircraft. Consequently, the aircraft crashed and everyone on board, died. Really, over-confidence kills! In the same way, being over-confident in life can jeopardise your chance of eternity with God in Heaven. To end in eternity with God, you must avoid over-confidence in life. For example, if you were a drunkard before you repented, and a former friend of yours who is still a drunkard comes to tell you, “Come, let us go to a beer parlour”. If you say, “Oh! I will go with you. After all, I am saved now. In fact, I am filled and drunk with the Holy Ghost. I cannot drink alcohol again. I can even sit with drunkards and not drink”. That is over-confidence! Avoid it. Matthew 26:33-35 gives us one good example of over-confidence: Peter answered and said unto him, Though all men shall be offended because of thee, yet will I never be offended. Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this night, before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. Peter said unto him, Though I should die with thee, yet will I not deny thee. Likewise also said all the disciples. Peter was over-confident. His confidence was not in God to keep him from denying Jesus; he was over-confident in his ability not to deny Jesus, and he fell into that temptation. You see, you fall into temptation when you are over-confident in yourself without putting your confidence in God. *REMEMBER THIS:* _You fall into temptation when you are over-confident in yourself without putting your confidence in God._ ASSIGNMENTS: 1. Avoid being over-confidence in life. 2. Put your absolute trust and confidence in God. PRAYER: Lord, I ask that You deliver me from every form of over-confidence in life. Help me to put my total trust and confidence in You, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
