M4 processors will be included in the Apple Mac line by the end of next year The latest M4 processors debuted in May of this year as part of the Apple iPad Pro tablet, but this did not force Mark Gurman, who closely follows the company's plans, to reconsider his forecasts regarding the further expansion of processors of this family. In his opinion, which he shares on the pages Bloomberg, in Mac computers, M4 processors will not become widespread until next year. First in line, as the source explains, are the iMac, MacBook Pro and Mac mini, which should receive M4 processors between the end of 2024 and the beginning of 2025. The updated MacBook Air will be released in the spring of 2025, so the three categories of Apple products listed earlier will have to squeeze their debuts into the first quarter of 2025. In the second half of the same year, Mac Pro and Mac Studio based on M4 family processors will appear. According to Gurman, this will be the first time in Apple's history that a new generation of processors will be introduced into the entire range of Mac family PCs in such a short time. Perhaps such measures will be able to revive the demand for Apple computers and, to some extent, ensure “equality” for buyers of various brand devices in terms of access to the latest processors. Apple has resumed work on lightweight augmented reality glasses and is not abandoning the release of the second generation Vision Pro In the traditional Sunday digest on the pages Bloomberg Mark Gurman has made some important clarifications regarding rumors about the latest changes to Apple's plans. According to him, the suspension of work on the creation of the second generation Vision Pro headset does not mean that the device will not be released at all. In addition, the company has resumed work on creating augmented reality glasses. We are talking, as the source explains, about a lightweight device that fully deserves the right to be called glasses, because Vision Pro in its current form is at least a “headset” and at most a “helmet.” Users will be able to wear Apple's future augmented reality glasses all day without fatigue. According to Bloomberg, no one at Apple believes the company can create such a wearable device in the coming years, and even the most daring estimates mention 2027 as a possible announcement period. The second generation of Vision Pro, about the suspension of work on which recently reported, according to Bloomberg, will not be released until the end of 2026, and now the priority is really becoming a cheaper and lighter augmented reality headset (N109). The company plans to give the N109 headset a faster processor and better cameras, and it also plans to make it lighter and more comfortable to wear. It should be released by the end of 2025; within the company this product is referred to under the symbol N107. Apple specialists are faced with the task of reducing the cost of the headset without significantly compromising functionality. Firstly, the simplified N107 headset should lose the EyeSight function - a display that shows the user’s eyes to others. The internal displays of the device will also receive more modest characteristics. The device processor and cameras responsible for perceiving objects in the surrounding world will be simplified. The viewing angle will be reduced compared to the Vision Pro, and the device will rely on a paired Mac or iPhone for its computing needs. This will reduce the cost of the headset and increase battery life. The existing first-generation Vision Pro will receive a new operating system, visionOS 3, next year, and intermediate updates will continue to be released until then. So far, Bloomberg representatives see no reason for Apple to refuse to expand its family of augmented reality devices. At least the staff of specialized personnel is expanding, research and development is not curtailed. The company only faces the task of correctly positioning such devices on the market, taking into account their real functionality. It is only clear that the funds invested in the development of such products will pay off only after many years, if this happens at all. You can find all our projects on our Official website. Despite the company's high capitalization, the Nvidia brand is not so popular compared to its competitors Nvidia's history goes back more than thirty years, and this year it managed to briefly become the world's largest public company by market capitalization. However, the Nvidia brand is still little known outside the computer and information technology segment, and therefore the popularity of this brand on a global scale remains quite low. The resource decided to announce this over the weekend CNBC, which refers to the current edition of the Interbrand rating. According to its compilers, Nvidia is not even among the hundred most popular brands on the planet. At the same time, Apple, Microsoft, Amazon and Google, among the five largest companies on the planet by capitalization, ranked from first to fourth in the Interbrand ranking at the end of last year. In fact, the top ten largest brands on the planet also include Samsung Electronics, Toyota, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Coca-Cola and Nike close the list. Even Intel, which competes with Nvidia, was awarded 24th place, and HPE, which produces server systems, clung to 91st position. Perhaps Nvidia's business is growing too rapidly to merit a mention in all relevant ratings. In each of the previous quarters, the company's revenue increased by more than 200% year-over-year. Next fiscal year, the company's revenue is expected to nearly double from the current year to at least $120 billion, according to LSEG analysts. Even in Kantar BrandZ's ranking of the world's most valuable brands, Nvidia ranks only sixth. However, until June of this year, she could boast only 24th position on this list, so the progress is obvious. Kantar values the Nvidia brand at $202 billion, a year-on-year increase of 178%. The modest successes in popularizing its brand compared to competitors are also explained by the company’s marketing strategy. For most of its history, it focused on the gaming video card and console market, and the names of its partners were better known to end customers. Relatively recently, Nvidia products began to be in high demand in the performance computing segment, but even here they often remain in the shadow of brands from server equipment suppliers or developers of large language models. In any case, even the compilers of the Interbrand rating admit that over the past 12 months, Nvidia’s brand awareness has grown, and therefore it has a chance to get into the top hundred of the corresponding list in the new edition. Additionally, last month, Vanda Research analysts found that Nvidia was the most popular stock among retail investors. You can find all our projects on our Official website. With love, NSWTL.
