Born in Kinshasa on February 2, 1983.
He is a former Congolese military officer who currently resides in the United States with his entire family. Malanga is known as the president of the United Congolese Party (PCU), a national political party he established following his involvement in the 2011 parliamentary elections.
In 2013, he was appointed as the first ambassador of the International Roundtable on Religious Freedom. Notably, on May 17, 2017, Malanga declared the establishment of New Zaire and formed a government in exile in Brussels.
Recently, after being off the grid for some time, Malanga resurfaced during an armed attack at the Palais de la Nation. Security sources reported that he was killed by the FARDC while attempting to overthrow the regime. His son was arrested along with several others, including an American man.
