Federal Reserve says it will take into account cumulative tightening of monetary policy for future interest rate raises 👈
The Fed announced a 75bps rate hike, in line with expectations. With U.S. economic data improving, the next FOMC release on Dec. 14 will show whether the Fed has turned.
⚠️ Reminder: FOMC Interest Rates Hikes decision will be coming out today at 6:00 PM GMT.
Estimated rate hikes are 75bps which is most likely considering a strong US economy with jobs. But if FED decides to raise rates by 50bps markets will pump hard and same for 100bps will dump heavy.
So look out for any unexpected announcement and expect volatility and chop in the market.
