On Telegram there is no global feed and you can't follow hashtags. This means Telegram shadow bans by default. It's really hard to build a massive movement through Telegram.  Telegram gives you the feeling of being part of something big when in reality you're only part of a tiny group. Nostr on the otherhand shows promise, if it can be scaled for the masses. Time will tell.
