As an NHS member at PiM, I organized a Multicultural Day where 5 students (including me) represented 5 totally different countries - Uzbekistan, Russia, Namibia, Ethiopia, and China. The presentation lasted for an hour, and we (the representatives) were bombarded with so many questions, being honest! We didn't know that everyone would be so interested in the event that we had to teach them some Russian and Uzbek words! At the end, we sang our national songs and danced in group! All in all, we had a lot of fun on the first day of International Education Week!

Yesterday, my US History class teacher talked about his journey to one of his favorite places in this world, New York. When it came to the point where he started to share his memories of what he saw in the underground of the Twin Towers, everyone got emotional.... because he said that there was this screen table which showed each and every victim's past life that they had had before 9/11 😐 Now, imagine going there and being able to see one of the 9/11 victims' life: see there happy faces before visiting the twin towers without realizing that in couple of minutes terrorists would attack, because of whom they would lose their lives under the collapsed tower. It is really intense. My host mom and I are scheduling a 4-day trip to New York and Connecticut in January, so we decided to visit that place and have a campus visit to Yale. Next year will be more fun and adventurous than this one, thanks to God. Rest in peace to all the victims of 9/11

Wanted to see my American friend's reaction to Uzbek foods 😜😋 Had a really good time! Thank you, Connor. See ya tomorrow. Eternals 🤩 Instagram

I have a host dad, mother, brother and grandma, and they have 5 cars! I wish FLEX would allow students to drive!

Barber Shop in America doesn't have a huge difference. The only thing that may vary is just a registration process: they have a special website where people check in before they come in.
