May 6th SAT (Short) Recap:
The 1st section of Reading and Writing was doable. I believe anyone who had been preparing for the exam could quickly answer the questions along the way.
The 2nd section of Reading and Writing was bearable. I genuinely believe that the texts got longer and more formal/academic with the tables and stuff. For those who generally don't read articles or magazines, tackling the questions must have been pretty challenging, tbh.
The 1st section of Math was easy-peaky but not that much of a lemon squeezy. I could feel that the questions were so straightforward and anyone who finished "Axborotnoma" could take the test twice in almost 40 minutes.
The 2nd section of Math was more or less manageable. As I had little time left till my exam, I could not really polish Reading skills nor Math skills to a great extent. So, I cannot really tell if the 2nd section of Math was pretty tricky or not. But I will tell you this - the texts got bigger again lol. Most of what was said in the prompts of these sat math problems were just there to trick the test taker. And that's pretty much it.
P.S. This was just my experience.
Well, the test is over. I am gonna tell you this: dsat is slightly easier than paper sat.
Almost 10 mistakes:
* 6 mistakes (I was unsure)
* 2 mistakes (I literally had 20 seconds to finish the passage)
I keep evolving.
One of the things that I have come to realize from my experience of tackling SAT Reading questions is that you should never stress over a question (or questions) that you are struggling to find a potential answer to.
I remember my first try. It was horrible as I was going mad realizing that I could not prove one specific answer choice to be the right one. Since I wasted too much time on that single question, it affected my mood badly and made me think that I could just give up now without even wrapping up the test.
So, just consider this fact if you have trouble with your time management while doing SAT Reading tests.
Even after the explanation, I didn't get it. It sucks. Would anyone be willing to provide an explanation please?
I have a quick question. Will the test center allow its test takers use laptop chargers?
I am really struggling with my math. Everything seems super easy to me but I still make mistakes when I encounter some
* Units (2x)
* Percents (2x)
* Solving systems of linear equations 😐
* Exponential expressions
* Linear function word problems
Can anyone suggest anything that would help me better tackle these math problems PLEASE?
Like, it is just stressing me out cuz I have tried so many Percents | Units | Linear expressions problems but I still have to know better.
"I grew in a different era
More action, less talkin', he said I'm a dead man walkin'
One in your head, there ain't no respawnin', alright
I don't wanna seem ungrateful, God
But I don't wanna be here
I got some things to get off my chest
But maybe it's best I keep it a secret

It's mad in the place that I grew in"
