Good Boy Liger's Babyfur Art Bonanza

Welp, bye bye gallblader. Surgery went well back home in the cub cave. The doc said the gallstones were so big that they actuallt had enlarged my gallbladder, so they had to cut larger than usual incisions (There are 5 total) I didn't let on to it at the time, but for the last year, usually twice a week I was in excruciating and debilitating pain for 8-12 hours at a time when I would get a flare up. This is was why my commissions and stuff were taking longer, and why I wasn't around the whole time at BFC last year. But now it is finally over and my life and work can get back to normal. Thank you to all of my furiends who sent me best wishes and for all the love. I'm so fortunate and grateful to have such good pals and to be a part of this caring community of ours. Hi everyone, as some of you already know, tomorrow I'll be going in for surgery to have my gallbladder removed. I just wanted to let you all know that I'll be out from this afternoon until the end of next week for prep and recovery time. Already have everything setup in the living room and nursery to make it as comfy as I can. Also took the chance to make up some homemade baby food since I'm not supposed to eat anything solid for a couple days. 🍼 Whirled Peas, Sweet Potatoes/Carrots, Mashed Potatoes, and Strawberry/Peach/Pineapple fruit mix. Actually turned out really good since I seasoned them. If all goes well, I should be back to working on art by the end of next week. I was hoping to get out more of the Stroller YCH's, but I've run short on time since I spent all last week dealing with taxes, insurance, and the hospital billing. I will pick back up working on the rest of the Stroller YCH's sometime towards the end of next week and get them to those of you waiting ASAP. Hopefully by tomorrow evening I'm back home minus a gallbladder. Thank you to my commissioners for your patience. Also thank you to everyone who has wished me well. ❤️

“Alright Asher, you be a good boy for Zach, Jess, and Jenn. They're nice enough to babysit you, so you need to be on your best behavior, okay?” I nod my head, “I can be a good boy for Mommy! I promise!” Mom smiles, “What a big boy you are Asher! Okay, since that’s the case I have a surprise for you! Something was delivered in the backyard earlier while you were taking your nap.” Upon hearing Mom’s words, my little lion ears perk up and my tail instantly begins to wag with delight. “You can go outside as soon as Zach helps you put your shoes on.” Mom hands Zach a shoe box. “Here's a pair of shoes I bought for Asher. They will match the new outfit he is wearing much better than his other ones.” Zach opens the box and pulls out a little pair of white Velcro shoes. They're far more babyish than my usual dino shoes, but I don’t mind. I'm far too excited to see what my surprise is to care about what I am dressed in. Zach sets me on the couch and puts my socks and shoes onto my feet paws. Once ready to go, he grabs me by my paw and leads me through the back door and onto the porch. It takes a moment for my eyes to adjust to the bright midday sunlight, but when they do my gift comes into focus. I squeal with delight. “It’s a swing set! Mommy and Daddy got me my very own swing set!” I run up to Mom and give her a huge hug. “Thank you so much Mommy! Thank you!” Mom laughs, “You're welcome Peanut. Now go play and don't forget to be good for your babysitters.” I break away from her and bolt out into the yard while excitedly screaming and flinging my arms in every direction! I think to myself, Wow! Well, it is true. Riding in my stroller is far more comfy than waddling around the whole park... even if I look like a big toddler in front of everyone.
