🇬🇪Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has instructed the Foreign Ministry to "reduce contacts with the West", Formula TV reports. A secret meeting is said to have taken place on 24 May, immediately after Washington's statement on the review of cooperation with Tbilisi. Blinken, it is recalled, announced a new US policy of imposing visa restrictions on Georgia under the Foreign Agents Act. The country's ruling party responded by saying that independence was "not for sale for any visa". Kobakhidze also accused President Salome Zurabishvili of treason. He did not explain what he meant. 🇬🇧 The UK will reintroduce conscription if the Conservative Party wins the parliamentary elections on July 4 - Prime Minister Rishi Sunak. According to Sunak's plan, British citizens from 18 to 24 years old will be required to either serve a year in the army or devote two days off every month for a year to socially useful work (helping the police, utility workers, doctors, firefighters, etc.).
