📣 We have some exciting updates to share about Cronos! 🚀 Cronos has successfully validated more than 70 million transactions since launch and continues to be a top 10 blockchain by total value locked. We're committed to delivering world-class reliability and staying competitive with other top chains. 🔧 During the first half of 2023, Cronos has implemented significant improvements, including: - VersionDB database leading to 62% smaller node storage requirements. - Fast node mode enabling 50% faster node response time. - Address recovery caching leading to a 30% increase in transaction execution speed. - More reliable public JSON-RPC endpoints delivering more consistent data 20-50% faster. - Commercial availability of optimistic rollups on Cronos Mainnet, enabling the ecosystem to support hundreds or even thousands of transactions per second. 🔭 Looking ahead, there are some promising upgrades being evaluated for deployment: - Increase of block speed and capacity for up to 2X increase in transaction per second (TPS) throughput. - MemIAVL blockchain data structure, which will make it >95% faster to load and export node snapshots. For more detailed information, check out our latest blog post: https://blog.cronos.org/p/fast-and-furious-performance Twitter announcement: https://twitter.com/cronos_chain/status/1674316766699458561?s=20 Thank you all for your continued support!

🎉 We are pleased to announce that optimistic layer-2 rollups are now available on Cronos Mainnet! Thanks to Caldera's groundbreaking technology, developers can effortlessly deploy rollups, creating dedicated app chains for high-volume use cases. In our tests, over 200,000 transactions were successfully completed, with a 100% success rate. The average cost per transaction was 0.02 CRO, or 0.001 US Dollars, more than 50 times cheaper than regular Cronos transactions! All thanks to batching layer-2 transactions into layer-1 records every 20 mins. This innovation heralds faster transactions, lower costs, and a significant leap forward for DeFi, NFTs, and Web3 gaming. Available now on Cronos mainnet. 🚀 Let's continue to build the future of blockchain together. Read More here: https://blog.cronos.org/p/cronos-partners-with-caldera-to-deliver
