VATICAN REMOVES ANTI-ABORTION ACTIVIST FROM THE PRIESTHOOD Frank Pavone’s work has led to clashes over the years with some Catholic leaders. A well-known Catholic priest and incendiary leader of the anti-abortion movement was removed from the priesthood by the Vatican, according to a letter from Pope Francis’s representative to the United States that was obtained by The New York Times. Frank Pavone, who leads the advocacy organization Priests for Life, and was once a religious adviser to former President Donald J. Trump, was dismissed from the clergy on Nov. 9 with no possibility of appeal, the letter states. Power utility Eskom has confirmed reports of the South African National Defence Force (SANDF) being deployed to some of its power stations. “Eskom can confirm that the SANDF is being deployed. Eskom has received deployments at four sites,” it said. The power stations which are seeing a military presence are: Majuba Camden Grootvlei and Tutuka The exact nature of the deployment is not yet known, with Eskom redirecting all queries to the presidency. He has expressed his support for Craig Quinton, owner of Craig Marks Diamonds in Melkbosstrand. While the ACDP stands against discrimination of “race” and culture, we will NOT support the idea that discrimination of persons based on ungodly sexual lifestyles is the same as prejudice against colour or culture. Pink is not black. People are born different colours as a result of genetics, and we affirm the equality of all cultures. However, the ACDP stands on the clear teaching of Scripture that God create male and female. The African Christian Democratic Party will continue to encourage our citizens and society at large to build strong families with male and female based on the Word of God. The ACDP will defend the rights of Christians who stand their ground on conscience and faith.
