Eating and drinking junk food and soda used to be rewarding, brothers would be working a lot its a nice treat at the end of the day. I'm talking about the days when brothers would be in field day in and day out and are so exhausted at the end. I don't think it affected us that much we didn't gain weight from it nor did we became lazy (there wasn't second option). It's during the downtime when these things can be a killer, you'll gain a few Kgs without even realising and become lazy the more time passes. Try not to treat yourself too much especially during these slow times, you should be preparing for what's to come. We had a stereotype back then that when the food would come and if it was good and they would treat us with snacks and soda it means they're about to send us into hard operations and it could very well be our last meal.
