In the fall of 2021, the human rights project published videos with scenes of torture and rape of prisoners made in Saratov Tuberculosis Hospital No. 1 (ОТБ-1). Human rights activists note that in total they managed to get more than 40 GB of recordings from different institutions of the Federal Penitentiary Service. The Investigative Committee is investigating 12 criminal cases of rape, extortion and abuse of power, but does not name the detainees and does not even specify how many of them. Only the former head of the prison hospital ended up in the pre-trial detention center.

@NetGulagu Опублікували кадри стану здоров’я одного з українських військовополонених в СІЗО-2, Воронізька область. Полонених систематично б‘ть та жорстко поводяться, до них не допускають медиків. Після отриманих травм рани полонених починають гнити, але це не заважає росіянам далі наносити удари по тілу/тим самим місцям. After the injuries, the wounds of the prisoners begin to rot, but this does not prevent the Russians from continuing to strike the body/ the same places.
