"አንድ ልጅ አባቱን ሄደና 'ዋጋዬ ስንት ነው?' ብሎ ጠየቀው። አባትም አንድ የከበረ ድንጋይ ሰጠውና 'እሄን ይዘህ ሱቅ ሂድና ስንት ነው? ሲልህ ምንም ሳትናገር ሁለት ጣትህን ✌️አሳየው አለው።' ልጅም እንደተባለው የከበረ ድንጋዩን ይዞ ሱቅ ሄደ። ባለሱቁም 'ስንት ነው?' ብሎ ሲጠይቀው ሁለት ጣቱን አሳየው፤ ባለሱቁም '2 ብር' ሲለው ምንም ሳይመልስለት የከበረ ድንጋዩን ይዞ አባቱ ጋ ተመለሰና የሆነውን ነገረው።
"ከዛ አባትየውም እራሱኑ የከበረ ድንጋይ ይዞ ወርቅ ቤት እንዲሄድና ስንት ነው? ሲልህ ለባለሱቁ የሰጠሀውን አይነት መልስ ስጠው' አለው። ልጁም እንደተባለው ወርቅ ቤት ይሄድና 'ስንት ነው?' ሲባል ሁለት ጣቱን አሳየ። የወርቅ ቤቱም ሰውዬ '2ሺ' ብሎ ሲጠይቀው፤ ምንም ሳይመልስ አባቱ ጋ ተመለሰ። ከዛ የሆነውን ነገረው።"
"አባትየውም ለ3ተኛ ጊዜ እራሱኑ የከበረ ድንጋይ ይዞ 'የከበረ ድንጋይ ሚሸጥበት ሂድና ለሁለቱ የመለስክላቸውን አይነት መልስ ስጥ' አለው። ልጅም የከበረ ድንጋይ ሚሸጥበት ቦታ ሄደና 'ስንት ነው?' ሲባል እንደቅድሞቹ ሁለት ጣቱን አሳየ፤ ሰውየውም '200 ሺ' አለው፥ ልጁም ምንም ሳይናገር አባቱ ጋ ተመለሰ እና የገጠመውን ነገረው። አባትም 'አየህ ልጄ ያንተ ዋጋ ሚተመነው ቦታህን ስታውቅ ነው፤ ርካሽ ቦታ ከሄድክ ያረክሱሃል፥ ውድ ቦታ ከሄድክ ውድ ነህ!'
