🚌 CZ owns 64% of BNB's total supply Former Binance CEO Chanpeng Zhao owns 94 million BNB, which is about 64% of the total supply of 147.5 million coins. Chinese student challenged with prison sentence for withdrawing token liquidity💸 🟧In China, the trial of a 24-year-old student who issued a token on the BNB Chain blockchain and, according to the prosecution, withdrew the liquidity received from investors in the amount of at least 50,000 USDT continues. According to the case file, in May 2022, the defendant Yang Qichao issued the eponymous BFF coin on BNB Chain's blockchain network ahead of the launch of the DAO token project Blockchain Future Force. He contributed liquidity of 300,000 BSC-USD and 630,000 BFF to the protocol. 🔸Immediately afterward, third-party user Luo spent 50,000 BSC-USD to buy 85,316.72 BFF. 24 seconds later, Yang Qichao withdrew all liquidity from the protocol, receiving 353,488.115 BSC-USD and 508,069.878 BFF. Because of this, Lo was able to sell 81,043 BFFs for only 21.6 BSC-USD. 🟠The victim contacted the police and in November 2022, Yang was detained. FTX settles U.S. IRS lawsuit for $24 billion🪙 🇺🇸The IRS will receive at best $885 million from FTX, which is in bankruptcy proceedings, instead of the originally demanded $24 billion, according to the parties' settlement agreement.
