🖍 In many countries, women and men are working full-time. It is logical for women and men to share household chores. To what extend do you agree or disagree?
The question of whether men and women who are employed full-time jobs should allot household tasks has become a heated debate in modern life. I opine that distributing house chores equally between men and women is a good idea as child-rearing and all house chores are not easy for one person while there are also hard works for women at home.
The primary reason of my approval is that after the work pressure during the whole day both genders are tired and want to have time to relax or to do their leisure activities. Should they do housework together, one of them do not become overloaded with all household tasks. So it will be fair to share housework equally. Another significant reason is that, some house chores might be hard to do for women such as gardening or repairing technical devices because women are delicate and physically weak. In addition, upbringing of children is considered as the most crucial task in family. In this case, the role of both men and women are so significant that one of them cannot rise child in an expected way.
Having said that the predominance of men is highly ingrained aspect of societies. So there is common concept that house chores such as cleaning, washing, cooking and taking care of children should be done by women.
To recapitulate, I am of the belief that working couple should realize the importance of this equality as sharing household tasks gives both of them a chance to be free from work stress and to avoid heavy workloads on one person together with to care for child-rearing.
