We all have the potential to reach great heights, but work over time is the most important factor in this. The main problems in our society nowadays is that we start now and want positive results now. If we don't get them now or sooner according to our expectations, we deem ourselves as failures. This is mainly because we want to compare our results with those people whom we don't know their process. If you want to ruin a beautiful thing, compare it with something else. Stop comparing yourself with other people because you'll end up competing with them instead of learning from them.
When you have a vision, don't let your current situation affect it negatively, don't let your poverty stricken background or societal expectations make you rush your progress and demand instant results because when you don't get those results, you will often give up and think it's impossible to get up.
There's no shortcut to success or a formulated equation which guarantees success within a particular period. However, if you put in the work, make the right associations, take action and never give up, your success is guaranteed, but the time will always remain unknown. We all have different breakthrough seasons. Don't make excuses that you are poor or the government is doing this and that, your future is in your hands, not anyone else's. Most of us come from poor backgrounds but that didn't stop us from taking action, it in fact motivated us to take that action and keep going when times get tough because we remember why we started. That's how we eventually got our breakthrough.
We need to take action. Blaming others for our failures may give us comfort but it doesn't take us a step forward to our goal, only action does. Focus on your growth and personal progress and compete with the person that you were yesterday, not anyone else. | 0 |
