POSTED 15th MAY 2024 HELLO I am away from my normal trading desk for the next month. I started 2024 with a bang, making 80% in my first month, but then I had a huge losing month in February. Since then, I have buckled down, traded conservatively, and I am now up 30%. This may be admirable for many, but me producing 30% in 4 months is not good. This performance is an outlier, statistically speaking, compared to previous years. While I have losing months of course, I tend to average 50% a month in profit. I have decided to take a break for a month and study my trades and research. This coincides with me going to North America for my “speaking tour”. However, I feel there is more to the story than just bad luck this year. I am not one for excuses, so this is not meant to be one, or sound like one. I am undergoing a body transformation this year, trying to build muscles, changing my diet (I have cut out all sugars, and I have dropped 18 lb in weight in 4 months, while maintaining my muscle to fat ratio), but I admit it has at times left me fatigued and less focused than normal. I am work in progress :). You can't appreciate "day" without "night", and my struggles to accelerate my fitness is just a reminder to me that I am doing something right. Like trading, if it is worth working hard for, it is worth having. I want to take this opportunity to thank you for your support and for allowing me an opportunity to shape your trading skills, as well as sharing my ups and downs in an forever changing profession. ALERT I have been stopped out of my Dollar Yen a day or so ago. Minus 65 on a 50% trade. Status coming.

📕 STATUS & COMMENTARY 10th May 2024 COMMENT I spent most of my morning in a government office. That was a fantastic training for my patience. I admit I did google “can I rent a bulldozer for an hour” while I was in there. I was contemplating demolishing said building, on account of doing mankind a favour. I was long Dow on a BUY BELOW PRIOR BAR LOW, but I had to go to a 1min chart to get a suitable entry perspective. I held trade right until Prelim UoM Consumer Sentiment. I had researched the last 14 news releases of the UoM, and I concluded that I needed to be short below the break of the last 10min chart. I was stopped for zero on my first trade and I was taken short, which I closed for plus 36. That concluded my trading for the day. RESULT TODAY DOW PLUS = 36 = PLUS £3,600 HOLIDAY I will soon publish my holiday schedule. This channel will close from 17th May until 16th June.
