Not long before I was studying IELTS, I sometimes really got bored of all thing in English. HOWEVER, what urged me to carry on was that mind-blowing song. Enjoy it😊

The Advantages of Audiobooks in learning English: As mentioned in a previous blog entry, reading is a vital skill for improving English language ability. However, reading in another language can be challenging for some people. Another option to improve your ability comes in the form of Audiobooks. Rather than read one yourself, you can listen to a book being read aloud. Audiobooks provide a great opportunity to learn and improve in another language and can actually do a lot to enhance the reading experience and is a less intensive option for absorbing narrative. The advantages include: It makes it easier to read. Students are found to be able to read the same text more comprehensively upon revisiting the material. You can practice your English on the go – rather than sitting down and reading a book you can listen on your commute home or while preparing dinner increasing your intake of English. Students’ listening and comprehension skills are shown to improve when they regularly absorb story through orally-delivered means. They aid pronunciation. These books provide great examples of natural intonation, pronunciation and sentences rhythm helping you sound more natural and colloquial. Listening to text being read aloud has certain advantages especially to students who struggle to focus. Students gain a deeper understanding of the nuances of the English language (syntax, pronunciation, emphasis, etc.) when they hear the words read aloud. Listening to audiobooks and/or podcasts often inspire us to become interested in original texts and books.

​​#Text #Topic 🗣 Reading (o'qish) mahoratingizni oshiring 📃 Topic: My Vacation I like spending my holidays actively. My favourite time for the vacation is summer because it’s warm and sunny. It’s a good time for the seaside holiday. This year together with my older sister we’ve been to Turkey. There are lots of beautiful cities and sights there but we chose to stay in a small village near Istanbul. We were hosted by a nice family of my sister’s friend. Nature is very welcoming in this area and the sea is amazingly beautiful. There are many forests, meadows, rivers, lakes, mountains, vineyards, gardens and parks. What I really liked was that the mountains weren’t so high but they were picturesque. When you go up the mountains a marvelous view opens up. I also liked the view of vineyards stretched in neat rows and full of ripe grapes. The climate is mostly dry and hot. Morning and evening winds can get rather cold but afternoons are so hot that it’s almost impossible to walk barefoot. The best place to be when it gets hot is by the sea. Its coolness is soothing. Lying under the sun and swimming in the sea are my favourite activities while on vacation. We also took a couple of excursions in Istanbul and I should say that the history of this city was very interesting. It was founded by Greek colonists in the 7th century BC. Later it was numerously conquered and was even a capital of the Byzantine Empire. Today, it’s a popular resort with a population of about 14 mln. people. Theodosia is widely visited by tourists because they come here for the mineral springs, pebbly beaches, mud baths, sanatoria and rest homes. One of the reasons why I wanted to see Istanbul was the fact that my favourite artists Ivan Aivazovsky painted several paintings of Istanbul. 👉 @VIMRishtan
