The WSJ described Raisi's death as "depriving Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei of a longtime ally as Tehran angles for regional dominance through armed militias that are fighting the U.S. and Israel" ...sending the usual message to American readers that Iran is the "bad guy," while refusing to give context of the fact that Israel is ethnically cleansing the Palestinian population in the Gaza Strip right now, and Iran is one of the few countries standing up against the U.S.-backed genocide.
